Easter baskets in America 50-60 years ago when I was a child: colorful grass, one chocolate bunny, one cream egg, possibly one of those panoramic eggs with the scene inside, a few colored hard boiled eggs, and jelly beans. And I loved it! Did I miss anything?

We each got one and she would put some change, maybe a chapstick, and some other little trinkets in there. I've been an American all my life. I have NEVER heard of getting other gifts in Easter Baskets side from candy. Sometimes I would get a stuffed toy as a Easter gift from a relative but I didn't count that with the basket.
The British Version in your short is like it used to be here in Germany when i was a child (i'm 34 now) and your American version is how it's like here today. When we were kids we also got the traditional Easter Baskets with coloured hardboiled eggs, a chocolate easter bunny and some other sweets (mostly "Kinder" chocolates like the "Kinder Surprise Eggs" and "Kinder Schokobons") and my sister and i considered ourselves lucky to also always get 1 or 2 additional small gifts, like a plushie and a book or a board game, a CD or something like that and that was it and we were more than happy with it. 😊 Nowadays the gifts children get on Easter are just as numerous and expensive as birthday and christmas gifts...it's crazy to me! 😅
Yeah, I'm in America and the first one I never got as a child, and I never picked what I got too, it's crazy how it is now- I got like, two or three small things on easter, easter for me was always finding eggs with either some small candy or a dollar, and the cascarones, that's it.

I worked with jewelry for the past few years and it always baffled me how children were gifted something expensive on Easter. When I was a kid, we got chocolate, jellybeans, Peeps, and maybe a toy that can fit in the basket. But now, it's like all the holidays are just an excuse to buy jewelry or other expensive things for the kids. I'll never understand.
My Easter baskets weren't even, usually, baskets. We did a fun little egg hunt using plastic eggs. Then I'd get some chocolate/candy, and maybe a small plush or toy. My family did like to dye/decorate boiled eggs, though! They proceeded to be our lunch for the next week. It was a weird time, but fun!
Easter basket in Poland: A piece of bread, meat, salt, pepper, mustard, cooked eggs and an ( edible ) easter lamb figurine ( the basics, but you can show off here 😅 ) in a wicker basket, decorated with boxtree branches. The whole thing is brought into the church and put on a long table there ( with other baskets ). Then the priest will consecrate it with holy water and you can eat the now sacred food with your family then.

As a Brit, I never had an Easter basket. I just received eggs. I had no idea people got baskets full of sweets and other gifts. I found out that Build-A-Bear do baskets on their website, where you can put a regular plush with accessories, a small plush, and assorted extras like scrunchies and slap bracelets into a basket as a gift. I'd have probably made one for myself if it wasn't for the fact that I'm actually satisfied with my Build-A-Bear collection.

My dad sent me a picture of me with an Easter basket from when I was a kid. The early 90s. Inside was some candy and a little chalkboard. My brother and I would usually get candy and a toy or stuffed animal. When we got older it would be a dvd or some candy and an egg with $20 in it.
Even every year since I was born and I was born in 2012 and I’m just gonna say this is nothing like mine. My mom picks it out. It’s all surprise. I still do the Easter egg pants love it and I still get toys in mine and like a kinder joy This year I really wanted the new dog man book so you got me that but I never get like skier or anything this year. She got me some clothes too so build my own request but it’s not guaranteed to get there like what they talking on TikTok, picking your basket with the fun in that.
