The Best Thing in this video when the ferrari was going and you shifted instead of him @3:08 .. LOl #feelings
Another great video as always🎈
thanks brotha!
Nobody really talks how good the gear change pops are
I agree man, I love the sound of each upshift
That's my favorite part of flooring it lol
Just asking ...Do you reach the top speed in 6th gear being 7th and 8th specifically fitted for better fuel economy on long highway commuting ? Thanks in advance for any info about the 435 gearing.
How does the space in the back of this car compare to the 3 series coupe? Is there more space for leg room? Back and front? I’m a big guy and I don’t like scooting my seat all the way forward for the people in the back.
By any chance did you change your dash on your 435i during the BM3?
I'm not an expert on 435i, but I got my son one. He wants new black rims. It has the original 18", I like to put some wider rims on rear. Anyone know if you can get 19" and if so, what is the widest you can get without sticking out?
Sounds fantastic
What rims do you have
Subscribed right as I heard Chimp
Tyler the Titan is ballin! He's just about to go out of control! I can see it! 435i is gettin it boyeee!
N55 seems to have a high early torque peak would you say an xdrive would be needed to take full advantage of these power levels?
i wouldnt say its necessary but it definitely helps!
@@SimplyCarThings Any plans on running e85?
I got 2016 435i xDrive witch factory tune m Performance Power Kit that adds 35 additional HP that warranty covers so with total 335hp 435i xDrive when launch does 0-60 in 4.5 sec. I think xDrive needed if you want to go 450+ hp, otherwise u will waste tons of power by not being able to put it to the ground
That 8 speed sports steptronic transmission is amazing wish my n54 335i e92 came out with that transmission. Nice mods nice pulls ect.
thanks man, i totally agree its an absolute gem of a gearbox
Im looking to buy one atm, but dont know if i should go 435d or 435i any tips?
I got the f30 335i. I really wish I had your f32. I have full bolt ons and bootmod2 but man I really wish I had a coupe in manual
Car sound s awesome!
how does this compare to your old n54?
Is BM3 pretty reliable? I want to get it on my car. I don’t mind doing minor repairs, but I don’t want a blown engine or transmission.
you wont have to worry about a blown engine or transmission on these cars

@Cobra N55’s are bulletproof lol
bhp & torque?
what 2016 or 2017 bmw 3 series models are your top reliable
335. My buddy has a 2015 335i with a catless exhaust and it’s so nice. He had a burble tune on it but it popped way too much. He got it removed cause it would even pop in eco mode.
Does anyone know if I can do these tunes on my E92 2011 335i I have the N55 NOT N54.
MHD or JB4 offer solutions for your car. Bootmod3 is not available on the E series platform
Why did you choose bootmod vs jb4? You were saying it then the 488 came
Seems awesome. How much do you sacrifice reliability with that setup? I am considering same mods for my F30 335. Thank you
Might be super late, but I think stage 2 doesn’t necessarily cause a ton of issues. I’ve heard JB4 is probably the best bang for buck tune, however it does trick the ECU way too much and wears more on the engine. Tunes such as BM3 and MHD have less wear and tear & are prob best bang for ur buck in terms of power gains and no major reliability issues. I also have a N55 so I’ve been doing some research. I think once you hit stage 3 that’s when I’d probably only drive it strictly on weekends. Stage 2 and maybe even stage 2+ shouldn’t be too bad so long as you do preemptive maintenance and ofc supporting maintenance such as your spark plugs and whatnot. Hope this helped if you still haven’t done it yet !
its been a year do u still have ur n55? and how reliable if u do
@@Bimmeroncorn
For another 2k + you can get limited slip next. But being in CA you may find a totaled m4 and get the diff for less. Be a nice add.
i definitely agree
these cars come with a LSD
How much money in the mods and what’s the approximate power?
As fast as a mostly stock N55 can be.. *shade* lol Tell your buddy that the car looks and sounds super good!
I miss my n54 335i but my n55 435i GC looks so much better lmao.
Sullivan.Murray I went from a 335i coupe with JB4 g5 to a 435 x drive GC I want to upgrade but I don’t want JB4 again I want a bootmod3
I have a n54 09 rn and I’m thinking about trading in for a 435 15 and haven’t got to test drive one yet but I know you’ve driven both stage 2.. how do you feel about it (performance and handling is priority) I know it looks better.
The F3X generation started to remove alot of the direct power steering and sport chassis in favor of electronic controlled steering and comfortable ride. It was an effort to appeal to the masses without listening to the enthusiasts; also the 2011+ 3/435's N55 will under-perform in comparison with the N54. However, if you opt for the 340/440i you will get the better B58 engine
Ale T sadly not in my price range
What kind of wheels are those ?
Im sure that it's in the comments somewhere already but I'm too lazy to scroll down and look I was wondering if you could possibly give me a short list of your mods I'm getting ready to do my build on my 435 and would like some ideas and so I can compare prices and product before I buy it. Any information would help brother thank you have a great day the car sounds amazing
Nice😉
How is the car holding up with all that power any problems ? I’m thinking of doing the same to my 335
He hasn't had any issues, aside from the oil filter housing gasket leaking which isn't necessarily related to the tune
You think this setup is as fast as a stock F80 M3/M4? What about the new M340i?
Sean Crandell hmm, i’m not sure tbh. i think with the Stage 2 E30 map, it definitely is. but on strsight 91 i think an M4 might be slightly faster
Subscribed! In between getting a 17’mustang GT or a 435 and just tune it lol
The 435 looks sick and the mustang is kinda ugly.
Kinda in the same boat, but mustangs are too common and the 435i would be pretty unique not much people have
WHOS YOUR TUNER FROM HOW CAN WE GET YOUR TUNE ?
How’s the 435 maintenance wise? Would you advise as a first car
Better maintain that mofo or else....
How do you think this car will do on a drag strip? Mid 12'S??
yea i think so! more or less
Mid 12'S is stock
And do you know if the stock clutch on this car can handle the power?
Xerx Khalil if you have a 6 speed it won’t hold near as much as a zhp 8speed auto. I went standard for my first 335 and it was a pain in the ass. Got an auto next car and I’ll never go back. If you make this power be prepared to drop the transmission lol.
Is I put a bootmod3 on my 435 xdrive grand coupe will will it be detected it’s something we’re to break and I took it off ? Because I have a CarMax warranty but they want the car to stay stock . To keep that full warranty ! Let me know someone also where do I buy the bootmod3 and is it as easy as the JB4 g5 to install

What exhaust system is on the 435i?
it's a Fabspeed Motorsport Valvetronic Catback
Can you go straight to a stage 2 tune from stock? If you have all the components like the downpipe, inner cooler etc. Pretty much skip stage 1 and go for stage 2?
Yes, as long as you are running some sort of high flow downpipe then you can skip stage 1 and go straight to stage 2. I would also recommend upgrading your chargepipe since the stock N55 one's are pretty weak
Right on brotha. I've been watching your videos for advice and ideas. Keep up the great content! Can't wait to get my f32 tuned!
I know this vid is a year old but I'm curious, is the trans holding up well to all the added power?
When buying the bootmod3 tune they also include a transmission tune with it so the the transmission will be in sync to the added power.
@@MrVangboi05 hahah, thanks. I forgot I asked that question over a year ago. I since learned the ZF8 is a pretty decent trans in terms of adding mild performed mods
Which exhaust is that? I couldn’t make out what you said in the video lol
I think he said fabspeed valvetronic catback
Is the owner running an aftermarket clutch? Or does the stock one hold just fine?
well its the 8spd auto so there is no clutch. its a torque converter system. the zf8 gearbox is rated for really high power so you dont really have to worry about it much
Simply Car Things Thanks man! I got a 2011 335i with the n55 manual but the clutch is starting to slip so that’s why I’m asking
When you first launched it in the beginning of the video the whole front end wanted to come off the ground lmao
i know haha, lots of power + stock suspension
Do i need downpipe to go stage 2? I have every other bolt on just no downpipe.
Definitely and a new inlet pipe. My inlet pipe blew 2 weeks ago.
Whats the exhaust on mate ?
Has your friend had any problem running catless in California? I am going BM3 on my 435i soon and want to go catless for stage 2 but I am moving to California soon so I might just stick with stage 1 catted.
s Skylerrx I run catless on my 335i, you will have issues. When I have to smog my car later this year I’m gonna just put my stock cats back on.
You can flash back to stock within seconds. But if. You're on a gas map you will still be fine. In reality it's making sure your car is not emitting more emission than factory. This can be from after market parts or no cats/ d aged motor. As long as you have cats and carb approved parts you'll pass. You can pass on any stage tune as long as you have your cats and no monitors turned off. Or not carb approved intakes, or parts.
It's worth it for the increased HP potential imo. I have a 335i with MHD stage 2+ e50 but even when I had just catless dps and a lil e85 it was so much faster than stage 1 catted. I'm getting my stock dps put on and taken back off just for smog this week and it's a bit of a hassle but doing it once every two years.. that's nothing for the extra hp!!
no issues running catless but for emissions purposes you do have to revert to stock for smog
Whp ?
What’s the 0-60?
which is faster, this bmw or an m3 f80 ?
🤷♂️ I spank em'
So what do you think you’re running with hp?
probly around 360+whp would be my guess
Hey man, just wondering how tall you are, do you feel comfortable sitting in that car? Nice exhaust btw 👌👌👌
5'8 its really comfortable in that car!
I’m 6’1 and I fell comfortable in my 435i :)
Thats a sick set up; I wanna do the same with my 335i M-Sport but worried about warranty. Those crackles on overrun are adicting, they are there stock but for me BMS Stage 1 brought more of them out but those burbles! Nice kit.
Chris Garret thanks man! Yea you can’t go wrong with this setup it’s a ton of fun!
What year is this?
Yesssssss
Would this be better for a first car than the m235i?
It just depends on your preference honestly. I went with the M235i but my friend preferred the 435i. M235i is a bit sportier all around but the 435i is a bit better looking and slightly more practical
@@SimplyCarThings your awesome at responding man. I’ll drop a comment in the next few months and I’ll let ya know what I get
I wish there were more vids about the 440i! How much horsepower do you guys think can the 440 be tuned?
AL80 it’s gonna be a lot of aftermarket support for the b58 bring that’s it’s being put in the Supra..
My 17 year old eyes are analysing everything I will do to a rented BMW 😂😂😂
BlackFox3XD you are more than capable of getting a 435i at 17! I did it, it’s higher millage but I love it. You can do it!
I’m 17 im getting a 2015 one today. You can do it bro.
Alex Green what’s your job if you don’t mind me asking?
@@phillyaccord5635 I work at a restaurant called Culver's haha. I just got a cheaper one and all I pay for is my car, insurance, credit card bills, and gas. Its really manageable you just have to do it. I do wish it had less miles.
Alex Green oh okay gotcha bro, btw how’s the reliability on it?
You didn’t finished explaining why he went from JB4 to BootMod3? @ 2:57
Bootmod3 is better for you’re car, more stuff to do etc.
@@MDF23NJ jb is not anywhere close to how refined bm3 is
MDF23NJ can you be more specific please? I’ve been researching both JB4 and BootMod3. I’m leaning towards BootMod3. Only problem is that I can’t find HP & torque specs on BootMod3. Nobody really talks about the HP & Torque gains you get from it. Everyone just says that it’s user friendly and you have more options and also the burbles. I guess what I’m trying to say I have a 2015 F30 335i and so far I have a MST intake, Evolution Racewerks intercooler and charge pipe, Evolution racewerks catted downpipe. How much HP & Torque can I get from BootMod3?
the Ferrari gave him too much sauce 3:03
typejlb I did notice that too. Not to many people talk about the HP & Torque gains, I’m guessing because allot of people don’t Dyno their car, cause it can get pricey. I have a buddy who has Bootmod3 and he tells me the tunes are nice but they are real relaxed tunes. In other words they are not really aggressive. I don’t know if that a good thing so you don’t strain the motor. Long story short I think it comes down to preference but I did hear a ECU flash tune is way better but I can’t say cause I have no experience on any of them.
N55 is such a great engine. If the n54 never existed, the n55 would get way more due credit! Love em both 😍
love em both indeed!
damn that’s quick
This or m235🤔in ur opinion
Catless downpipes in California? How? What should i know so i can put that on my car lol
what part? if socal cough ssr performance. if you are doing it your self just order from vrsf. I finish my full boltons on october 11 plus tune on 435i grand coupe xdrive
@@jvguzmn bay area, but i mean downpipes are illegal in CA. So even though you have them installed do you just hope cops dont catch on it or you have some other precautions?
what do you think the cost of keeping it in good condition is
it has 229k miles
Andrew LaCrosse get another car because 229k is high asf
Andrew LaCrosse are you serious? His bmw has 229k mileage?
mousz chances are if it’s already at 229k major repairs have already been done.
The mileage is don’t matter. Is depend on how you take care of your car. You can go 300-400k miles with these cars. In europe you can see 600-700k miles in n54 n55 engines.
How much torque now?
around 430ish wtq?
Did you ever consider a 435i while you were searching for your next car?
yes, i did. But i fell in love with the M235i for its smaller proportions. the steering and chassis feel more dialed in on the M235 and its about 200lbs lighter
Nice. I’ll have to compare the 2 next time I get the chance!
definitely do so!
What’s the horsepower on the car??
around 360 at the wheel!
Huge fan! Question though, was someone eating a bag of chips in the video? You can hear crumbling the entire vid, also how many times did you have to edit out parts where you saw a nice car and all you freaked out about it like little girls getting a new Barbie? Anyway I see you’re using your new camera mount. That can be used not just to shoot CZcams videos 😉.
Kiely Kuhlmann i’m impressed you managed to spell every word in those sentences correctly! You deserve a pat on the back
PLZ TELL ME UR INTRO SONG

Why did it lowkey look like a Mclaren from that angle on the inside
Fuck the cts intake, I had it and it messes with my car, stock is the best. The only thing u get is sound from aftermarket intakes
haha, my friend hasnt had any issues with his and it sounds pretty awesome
Had to sub bc of the unreleased juice song
the good old days
WHAT RIMS ARE THOSE
Savini BM14 i think? not 100% sure
Wassup Mann you think I can get the same sound in a 428i ?
unfortunately not man, since the 428i uses a turbo 4 cylinder engine the sound will be different
Now that these n55 cars are getting so cheap, maybe we can start seeing more aftermarket parts for the f series, visual and performance.
there definitely will be more stuff, it's an inevitable market
SAW YOUR FUTURE CAR 3:02
Broooo did you hear that thing 😍😍
brooooo one day 😭
Simply Car Things yo I’ll have my r8 and you in your Ferrari 😎
you know it bro, im actually a huge mclaren fanboi, but nevertheless we'll have our supercars :D
I have a 435 if i go stage 2 how much hp are you pushing now
Probably around 360whp with a stage 2 pump gas map
Burbles are so annoying, I like mine quiet with the turbo spooling hella loud. Much more bad ass that way
i agree, im the same way
Ur annoying
BM3 is better than MHD?
RAJohnson713 the fastest N54 and N55 are MHD tuned. The fastest b58 is bm3 tuned, so I’d say they are both great and better than jb4
i'm not too sure but for F series cars, bm3 seems to be the premiere platform
What would you rather have? The M235i with the same mods or the 435i?
Manny M m235i
M235i for me. i the M235i for its smaller proportions. the steering and chassis feel more dialed in on the M235 and its about 200lbs lighter than a 435i
M235i for performance just because its lighter but the 4 series looks nicer. The 2 series looks too squished if you ask me, it just doesn't have the same road presence as the bigger 3 and 4 series. With both tuned you won't notice much straight line speed difference between m235i or 435i
He didn't want to say the n54 was faster but he knew it was lol
he said it feels quicker with the 8 speed
@@jasondai6276 he probably didn't have the xhp tune on his 335 then. N54 ia legendary man. B58 is good too. N55 is also a great motor but in terms of power potential it cant compare
yea it felt on par with my old car but slightly quicker given the gearbox and overall smoother power delivery. N55's are making way into higher power. Just watched a dyno vid of a guy with an E90 335i N55 dynod 673whp and 605wtq
Simply Car Things lmfao n55 will never make the power n54 makes, reliability yes the n55 is better, but power wise no way
Trying to convince himself n55 is better since that’s what he’s got now
Omar, I have messaged you on your Facebook page, regarding a business opportunity.
shoot me an email or a message on my instagram @omarrsadat
Simply Car Things I have messaged you on instagram
Whats the power?
my guess would be around 360+whp
Simply Car Things 360 for a stage to bootmod3 that’s not right probably stage one with inter cooler charge pipe and high flow catted or catless downpipes also an intake you’re looking at 400-450.
Zero_MP nah man, those figures are way too high 😂, trust me its around 360ish to the wheel
i’m 17 in high school and have a 2007 335i... i’ve has it for 3 months
Lmao, I’ll be honest, id never buy my kid a 335i, you’re going to drive that car like a raped ape and probably destroy it. 228i or a brz would have been a better starter car, less hp, just as much fun.
Michael Davis I’m 17 with a 435i and I wouldn’t say I beat my car but I def drive spiritedly whenever I can. I mean that is what it is meant to do.
s Skylerrx yeah, but it’s also a 12 year old car, and I’m guessing it probably has 120k miles. I’d say save the money and buy something with low miles that will last through college.
Also, a 435i is wider and heavier... completely different driving profile. Honestly, I’d take a modded 228i over a 435i.
I'm 17, dropped out of high school but got my diploma through Penn Foster. I got an M235i but, I might be trading it for an M4 in the fall after I turn 18.
Same, 17 with a 2007 335i e92, I’ve had it for 10 months and I’m still alive
ewwwww those tinted tail lights
Why would anyone get a 435 when you can get a 440 ?
I'm not sure about outside the Uk but the 435 is nearly half the price of a 440 (monthly)
do your research before asking questions.
N54 is better
