I hope everyone enjoyed the tournament. I had a great time making the cars and I thought they made for some great races. A huge thank you to 3D for racing them on his track and for all the time and energy he put into making this tournament freaking awesome!! And pretty cool a car I made will be on a tee shirt.
A note for all of you who are thinking about sending in a car for the King Of The Mountain Tournament... You just saw a car that is pretty much stock, no added weight, no FTEs, infact the #13 had the original wheels it came with. Set a time that is faster than about 96% of the mods that have been sent in, that includes the mods I sent in..lol.. Don't over think your builds, build the car for the track it is going to race on. Based on this tournament and the previous one you should have a pretty good idea of how some cars are going to perform on this track. (Watch that wall coming out of the last turn)
You don't need FTE's to have a fast car, are they helpful? IF you find some good ones they can be, but finding good ones is hard to do, and they are expensive. Spend some time polishing the axels on some standard wheels that already role well and you can make them better than FTEs.
Above all else just have fun with it. Take care and we will see you on the track.

What's an FTE that you keep referring to?
@@MrKartracer42 they are Faster Than Ever (FTE) wheels. Hot wheels made cars with these wheels in 2005-2006 & 2009-2010. The axels on them are nickel plated so they are very smooth and spin really well (the new color changers cars have nickel plated axels also). FTEs are expensive as you can really only find them on Ebay, and more often than not they are duds.

@@Actionronnie That was in race three where he did not win. I think Crazy James just had a momentary crisis of confidence. Had to literally stop and refocus before smashing the competition in race four.

I think what many don’t realize is how many parts are needed to make these videos look amazing: multiple cameras, proper lighting, set building, decoration, props, scripts for the announcers, editing, the list goes on. Go look at how their videos looked 2 years ago and what they look like today. You can see how much effort they put into their improvement.

@@franklyspeaking4480 Trans Am was a racing series in the mid 60's. Ford, Chevy, Chrysler, AMC, Mercury, and other manufacturers were involved. Originally was slightly modified showroom sedans. Pontiac paid to use the name on their Firebird.

@@Nero62CustomDiecast Seriously though, I really like 3Dbotmaker, but the one thing I'm less a fan of is cars not making it to the end and spinning around too much during the turns.
But virtually all the cars this series, even the slower ones seem to roll smoothly. I'm not sure how you do it, but it would be great if you get to host another series with your cars, it just makes it all the more fun.
