But I'm loving the way india is playing..Last few years after Reid has taken the coaching duty india has been the team to beat..The best thing I have noticed is the stamina of the players ..They have started playing fast hockey and fight till the last second..Earlier india used to give away in the last second but now they turn the matches in last second..What a turnaround for indian hockey..Love u india..Plz bring world cup home..
Team India need to believe in themselves and play with the same energy with which they played the last two matches against the reigning olympic champions belgium.
Penalty stroke proved to be the decider.

Australia might be bit rusty come Comm Games. Not played any international games outside a couple of matches against New Zealand.

India should bring Pawan Rajbhar in midfield. In Asian games he was the best player in the tournament for me. Completely controlled the mid.
Well, Senior team is levels above A team and Hardik, Vivek and Manpreet are doing great job there

@@MandarAkre That's the problem though isn't it? He's already 34 and at this rate, if he was not phased out systematically, we might end up throwing a completely inexperienced Keeper into the fray at the Paris Olympics two years from now.
It's never an easy call to not pick someone who is undoubtedly a legend of the game but the tough calls needs to be made sooner rather than later
Sri is fine. He is still a top 3 goal keeper in the world and with modern sports science there is nothing that says that an athlete cannot play well into their late 30s. Sri will probably play till the 2024 Olympics.

I have to say sreejesh has been quite an unsporting keeper making some awful tackles when he knows hes not gonna get the ball in both games
@Supriya Mukherjee Van Dooren did not make three fouls that resulted in penalty stroke…
He totally went through the shoot out sessions tho. Sreejesh has shown many qualities this week-end but sportmanship was not one of them.
I look forward for the semi-final or final between Belgium and India in the next world coup, India has improved way more than any other countries those past few years.
Yes....Sreejesh though is a great keeper, but he should improve on this aspect.

Very disappointing from India. They repeated the same mistakes Belgium committed the previous. That penalty stroke proved costly
India missed PCs & that proved wrong for otherwise excellent team. We should develop more PC specialists.
