No matter what hater say about jb,in my personal opinion it has already achieved international level of city.
Jb looks like a messed up development, with little to none proper urban planning...
Truth hurts, im sorry. Hence, JB city council, urban planners and royalties need to work together transforming the state especially public transport & pedestrian accessibility!

One thing Johor needs to do is to clean up all the litter. Littering is such a big problem. That fine for littering needs to be implemented strictly so people learn to be less selfish and keep our state beautiful.
terlampau banyak taman perumahan di kawasan yang sepatutnya digelar 'pertengahan bandar'. kalau lah boleh reset balik dan plan semula pembinaan city centre yang kelihatan seakan akan bandar medini, mesti pemandangan atau cityscape Johor Bahru akan nampak lebih menarik
Yess, the messiness is too obvious coz tetiba ada rumah teres in the city centre like wth, business ke residence area ni.. otoh, I dont think people will sacrifice their land, or they’re waiting for the best lottery 🤣

The overhead bridge btwn Ikea and Aeon Tebrau should be link directly into the malls, so visitors do not have to climb the stairs.
Also Aeon Tebrau could build higher, 3 or 4 storeys are not enough.

Lrt and mrt or lrt and monorel should be built in jb so that the city will compete with kl in future
Messy and unorganised development with little emphasis on pedestrian and public transport and also green spaces, absolutely a nightmare for anyone who isn't a car or motorcycle owner

Pembangunan bercampur yg baik, kurang Rumah KOTAK @ condo's, apartments & flats yang dipandang oleh sebagian orang sebagai moden.
Pembangunan bercampur baik serta mengurangkan pemanasan bandar.

We want JB to be better than KL. But for now it’s a mess. How can they allow that RF princess to be that tall and so close to each other? Does not look great.
Msia should not have too many metropolitant areas. We have JB in South, KL/Selangor in Centre and Penang in the North. May be Kuantan in East Coast, Kuching in Sarawak dan KK in Sabah. Thats enough. The other 9 states let it be as of now. We dont want all states capital to become rock forest or stone forest and we loose all our cultural values and nature heritage.
All states need a cities. Small cities to centralised people and provide multi facilities such as edu centre, sports, culture, tourism, etc.

I take the bus from CIQ to Aeon Tebrau, I need to climb up > 30 steps of steep stairs to reach the mall, orang tua susah sangat.
Jb hates convenience. The harder the better apparently.
In 3 years time most of this project will be completed. It will be great to see the impact!

@@MrJohyet yes absolutely. Great time now to get some real estate at forest city since it’s been designated as a financial zone, with upcoming train line to SG, all economic factors favors JB and Johor as a whole.
Pesatlah membangun,dulu zaman 4u2c berjalan Di komtar,kotaraya,holiday plaza makan pun kat tepi pasar sekarang city Square.bas banyak dulu,JB jadi tumpuan.Tengok wayang.

Once RTS link is up and running, the condos nearby will increase in value cos a lot more Singaporeans and expats working in Singapore will live in JB. Singapore rents are getting exorbitant!

You are absolutely right! It is in fact happening now in most of the new condos near the CIQ, whereby more than 90% are S’porean buyers who snapped up the units!

this area will be even more bustling since many choose to rent or own a high rise unit near JB Sentral travelling to n fro for work in Singapore.

Aku jujur je lah. Semalam pergi JB lalu area waterfront (depan HSA). Keadaan area situ agak menyedihkan. Banyak bangunan terbengkalai & terbiar. Memang tak sama berbanding last aku kt situ masa kecik.
Pantai Lido dulu meriah ada ramai orang, ada jual2 makanan.. skrg xde pape dah..
Maaf kalau komen sy potong mood, saya cuma nk luahkan rasa kecewa.
tak perlu maaf bang, saya faham ini realiti. semoga mereka buat sesuatu tentang perkara ini.
kalau ada apa2 masalah abang nampak dari segi pembangunan abang luah ja, fakta realiti perlu diketahui agar ramai akan sedar dan yang bertanggungjawab boleh buat sesuatu untuk improve keadaan pada masa akan datang. Insya Allah.

JB di anak tirikan , sedangkan Johor merupakan penyumbang terbesar ekonomi untuk Malaysia ,, tapi system public transport masih takde perubahan ,, atleast mrt underground cause JB tk pernah menghadapi big flood just longkang tersumbat je.. buses pon masih no change ,, sepatutnya setiap 5 minit ade bas lalu kat any bus stop ,, and laluan pejalan kaki pon takde ,, MBJB should focus on this issue ,,

Kalau tengok dari segih luas bandar JB 100 peratus kalau kch 99 peratus luas bandarnya kalau kota Kinabalu 98 peratus
Tapi kalau dari segi tanah bandaraya kucing lebih luas daripada Johor bahru ni dan begitu jg dengan kota Kinabalu kalau dari segi tanah labih luas kota Kinabalu Sabah di banding Johor
Tapi kalau dari segih luas bandar Johor 100 persen luas
Dan jg luas bandar kucing 99 peratus
Luas bandar bandara Penang 98 peratus kalau kota Kinabalu 2023 suda sampai 99 peratus ke empat bandaraya ni tahun kehadapan akan maju
