Hi pal, I have that coin in perfect fs, and I have that sms set
I have a question about nickels that hopefully you or someone else can answer. I bought a bracelet at a yard sale with nickels all around it and they're in the kind of coin holders for jewelry where the coins stays inside a round thing that holds them by the rims and they tighten down with a tiny screw on top of each one so they don't damage the coin. No holes drilled into them. If I remember right they're war nickel dates but these don't have large mint mark letters above Monticello. Do you know anything about these nickels? Why would someone take the time to buy those type of holders and put them in those and make a bracelet? Any value there if they're in good condition? Thanks for your time Shaun.
I just started watching you and I cannot believe this, my friend passed away he was 95 years old these coins were untouched for years . I have a huge box of them not joking, went through my Nichols found a 66 that is so crisp and clear you can still feel the rough edges on the end. I have a question On the bottom of his collar there is a FS Stamped what would that mean I don’t know if you mentioned that , what do I do with this coin now? LOL what a problem to have hope to hear from you soon

I love searching for full steps and I keep anything no matter what year nickel that has clean lines , all full steps. 5 years from now the 2020 nickel full steps might be worth $10,000. I can hold on to a nickel.
To find the 1965 Jefferson Nickel will be like finding a needle in the haystack. Good luck with locating this coin!!

Man I have been being to harsh on my steps then cause I have been looking for steps lookin like a 2019 nickle. I'm pretty sure I have one of these that I found maybe 2 if the steps can look that weak took me about 60 bu rolls to find em. I'll update this after I dig them out.

Actually think I might've found the first ms67... or maybe 66+ 2009 p nickel just today while coin hunting on a roll I had just laying around inside my coin closet... The nickel looks very clean and nearly flawless, with only 2 noticable tiny scratches on the reverse (on top of monticello)
AWESOME, I bought roll’s of 2009 P, D, S, and Cameo nickel’s. I have a 2014 soft cover book with a misprint of the 2009 D nickel’s. They said 485,500,000 and it actually was 48,500,000. I was buying them cheap because people thought HIGH MINTAGE. Now they are way more expensive. Lucky I pick up a bunch.

I have been collecting all full step nickles for years. Both proofs and non proofs. I have this coin. It looks proof like, full steps. I was going through my collection and couldn't believe I had one. So it is going to PCGS this week for grading. Wish me luck. Funny that SMS coins of 1965 are not worth as much. I used the jeweler's loupe and there's possibly a step or two but not full steps it's definitely a 1965 and it seems to be about mid grade definitely circulated about what type of raw price would I be looking for

When you send it to PCGS.... What are the steps to follow in order to not have your money stolen? A teacher stole my coins when I went to her for help on how much it is worth. Fred Florence Middle, Dallas, TX. I don't want to make the same mistake.
I have one or two Nickels from 1960 to 1965, and in mint or near mint condition, but not full steps design.
Ron Smith, lf l remember correctly, He said a 65 nickel without full steps sold for two grand. Condition of coin can also be a factor. It can cost $30 dollars plus other fees to have it graded, with no guarantee. I have a 64 quarter with that die crack or dent too. It's up to you, but people have sold Coins for big bucks on web sites.

Does a die crack through the steps mean it can't get FS? It reads "planchet" issue but not die issue...
Ron Smith, lf it's a surface scratch a grading company would probably overlook it, but if it's like a dent or chip, not likely. You can ask more info. and you can also sell it on eBay, Etsy ect.
@@robertromeo3765 a die crack is in the die and transfered to the coin. I have heard it here, that die scratches, etc., are accepted for FS but he seems to be contradicting himself? ...and id also like to know to what extent die imperfections would be tolerated?
I mean, to some it might be really cool to have a MS 1950's nickel with a die crack through the steps??

I seen you have to be a member you have to send alot of coins in a certain amount send it to pcgs each coin cost a certain amount it has the marking that identify the one there talking about it's one of 12 coins in the world universe right my mother passed away Feb 13 2020 she had coins jewelry 6 girls & 2 boys & we split everything she was a very strong brave smart loving caring good woman she gave unconditional love & patients to her family she was our queen died of cancer. She had cancer also in 2005

I have one with full steps and I saved it back for close to 3 or 4 years now I found it in a customer roll from the bank now after seeing this it's definitely going to pcgs also I have a 1945 Ms with full steps I am positive it will pass as fs and it will be this year I send the 2 out with a few other coins I will make Shawn a deal I am a man of my word if the one I have in this video pass for full steps I send it to auction and it goes over$20,000 for each $200 it passes I will personally donate $100 to Blue ridge silver hound for every $200 the coin goes over a good deed never goes unseen Shawn made this video had he not made this video I would have had no idea just what I had so that's my word and I'm sticking to it Shawn I hope you here from me soon.
