Napakahusay talaga ng GMA when it comes to documentary..
I witness never failed to create a masterpiece documentaries.
Born and raised po ako sa Lipa. Back in the day may kapehan ang mga lolo at lola ko.
Coffee like grapes has its individual unique tastes depending many factors such as variety, land, weather, season, picking, handling, processing, roasting and finally preparation. As a cup of coffee is served, a sip is like a masterpiece worthy of accolade for those who humbly toiled it. Salute to our own local coffee growers.
K
MAYABANG YANG MGA YAN! 😆
@@emiliobarcinitoxicclown5414 ah talaga po ba?
@@emiliobarcinitoxicclown5414 😅
This is a very important part of our history, albeit a forgotten one.
Forgotten or not recognized? I've purchased coffee beans mainly from South America and Africa, but never did I encounter the ones from the Philippines.
I’m very happy you survived COVID, Howie! Dahil diyan makakagawa ka pa ng maraming high-quality and inspiring documentaries like this one. This is a feel good documentary and makes me proud of my Filipino heritage.
LOVE this episode.
Howie Severino and Sandra Aguinaldo are my favorites.
Thank you for this, sir Howie. Batangas coffee, even Filipino coffee culture in general, is underrated.
Maraming Salamat Sir Howie. 😃😃😃
17:35 Maluha-luha ako.. 😍 Pagkakatuwa ko dine talaga.. 🤩 Salamat, Howie! ❤️
O.A ANG FAKE NA BATANGUEÑA 😂
More coffee documentary please. Just like the one you had in Benguet. Or was it in Benguet? Just love those contents because Filipinos really loves coffee but we are not that educated that we have this great history of coffees. ☕
Keep it up GMA.
#iwitness
I remember my Lolo used to drink barako every morning and afternoon and I used to try it too when I was a kid adding a bit of muscovado, or brown sugar, and nido milk hahaha, and we have a small tree of barako back then, good old times, I’ve never been more proud of being a Lipeño, thank you for this wonderful documentary.
Nakakaproud naman ito ang dami talagang magagandang kasaysayan as Pilipinas watching from cagayan de oro city.
Nice episode po sir.
Watching from Timor Leste 🇹🇱.
Nice po....
stay safe always kabayan
GODBLESS Sir Howie lodie kita pati c Mis Kara David napaka informative pag kayo 😊
Coffee is life talaga!
We also appreciate that Sir Howie had featured the Cordilleras being source of Arabica coffee especially in Sagada.
Love it.
@@LakbaySiklista i don't think so boss, isa yun sa mga wrong move n ginawa ni howie, hndi ideal tamnan ng arabica tree ang batangas kasi mababa lang na area yun eh, sa way pa ng pgtanim nia walang proper shading ung coffee tree so there's a posibility na king mag bear man ng fruit yon..swerte nia na na mka isa sya..napaka complicated at delicate ng arabica, and mostly tlga is sa mga high elevation area sya mas may chance na mag bunga ng mggndang cherries at mag develop ng mas mssarap na flavor👍
@@josiegruezo259 yes po i defenitely agree with that, nandun sa mountain province ang mga world class na arabica 👍
This episode reminded me of my Lola who used to gather and dry coffee beans outside her old house in Talisay, Batangas.
Love this documentary 👍💯
Howie Severino's documentary about coffee was great! He was able to connect coffee to the Philippine history and it's heroes. You can also feel how much effort he have made to his coffee research by bridging it to what people of Lipa is doing currently with the help of UP Los Banos and Mr. What a brilliant researcher/journalist he is!
*Mr. Watanabe.
Thanks I-Witness & Sir Howie for highlighting Philippine coffee. Hoping we could slowly bring back its glory 🙏
Bukod sa pagiging matapang ni Heneral Miguel Malvar naging tapat din ito sa Katipunan , he never betrayed Andres Bonifacio instead he aligned himself with Bonifacio, and he is also a good friend of Rizal’s family.
The best talaga mga documentaries ng I WITNESS
Galeng❤️💯👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Great one! Can't wait to visit Batangas.
Thank you for featuring our ancestral home, Casa de Segunda. She’s my great- great grandma!
May mga Coffee bean and coconut industry tayo.
As a Batangueno, I’m inspired with this documentary. Sense of pride and obligation to preserve the culture and heritage of coffee. Kaya dapat support Local coffee tayo! ❤❤❤ Napakahusay, Sir Howie. 🎉
Iba talaga mag kwento ang batangenyo
Salamat Sir Howie!! Napakagaling nyong dokumentarista!! 🥰

thnks of shraring the original of coffee barako ,Lipa Batangas (ala eh)
Coffee is life talaga😍🥰
🙏🙏
Im here again para sa cafe pag uwi ko sa phil.sana IPAGPATULOY NG BATANGAS ANG CAFE KC CAFE IS LIFE 800 na puno kokonte
❤❤❤
