When I analyze the lyrics closely, or try to, he says: Throw down your umbilical noose so I can climb right back. He also choruses “forever indebt to your priceless advice”. I think this is about his caregiver/mother……… could be wrong.

As soon as one problem is fixed your processing mind creates another problem and you’re in debt to it cause you’re enslaved in a pattern of never being content and happy. Always something else to fix or complete or make better is what it meant to me all these years. I thought it was super deep and poetic to be as open as I can. It’s been true most of my life. I tackle one thing off my list and immediately there is something else that comes up. Never allowing me to just be at peace in my mind

The only reason I know he didn't kill himself is because being a father with a daughter and been suicidal 💔 . Even my own hate for myself is trumped by my love for her ❤ and my to boys. Iv seen interviews with him and his daughter he would have done eny thing to be with his baby girl.
