Ceres is an dwarf planet orbiting Sol, it is the 5th planet orbiting that star. In the sky you can see Mars and Jupiter, it is because the planet is between them. Ceres does not have moons. It has a dungeon where you fight Evolved Blaze Boss to get Tier 4 Dungeon Key to unlock Tier 4 Rocket. The dungeon locator (only accessible in creative or with cheats) will point at this dungeon. It's ores are Dolomite and Meteoric Iron ores. The surface is very vast and heavily cratered by meteoroids. Under the surface rock, ther can be found dry ice block pockets. It is the first from the 2 places that you can find Dolomite ore.
Ceres became the first dwarf planet to receive a visit from a spacecraft. Called an asteroid for many years, Ceres is so much bigger and so different from its rocky neighbors that scientists classified it as a dwarf planet in 2006.

Ceres is located in the asteroid belt, between the orbits of Mars and Jupiter, and the dwarf planet is the largest of the rocky bodies in the belt. Ceres presents several interesting geological characteristics. Its surface has bright spots, craters, mountains, and fractures while its core is rocky.
Ceres has a very thin atmosphere, and there is evidence it contains water vapor. The vapor may be produced by ice volcanoes or by ice near the surface sublimating (transforming from solid to gas).
