Growing up in California I never saw seatbelts on school buses. Everyone wanted the back just for the bumps and potholes. And like Dropsy said I was in the back once and one bump made my head and the ceiling of the bus have a high five.
I'm in Florida and we have seatbelts but nobody uses them 😂
I’m in Oklahoma and some of them have them the short Cough cough had the but the normal ones didn’t and we also went flying
I never had any busses with seatbelts in Westerville Ohio from the first grade to 12th grade.
@@Aidanleggett I can confirm. Ohio has no seatbelts.
@@AidanleggettCan confirm. I went to school near there. No Ohio seatbelts.
I need more of these "the buddies rant about random subjects" kinda videos
It might be time to revisit/check out the old Fly or Die podcast-esque videos! I put one on every now and then and just let them talk lol
The main reason for a lack of seat belts on school buses (the yellow ones) is for ease of escaping in case theres are fire or the bus flips. Generally its young children on a school bus and they might not be able to disengage their belt quick enough in an emergency
I love when there is typos and unwanted letter in the titles, makes the vid unique :3
Another great Jerome gta video. It’s always interesting to see this type of content, brings me a bit of joy watching.
Here in the pacific northwest, buses still don't have seatbelts. I've heard that adding seatbelts would drive up the cost quite a bit, because think about how seats there are, and how many lap belts you would need.
I had to be the voice of reason and yell at somebody who kept respawning as the cone of shame. When you make me the voice of reason, you know something went wrong.
Hey look it’s THE v smith from the videos wow
I love how passionate Jerome is about wearing seatbelts
I love that the last half of the whole video is about seatbelt safety.
Is it just me or are Jerome's thumbnails detailed and fire 🔥🔥
ai generated
@@thewonder46so there still amazing
i just love how these gta races just replaced the fly or die podcast. we got the gta podcast
In Florida school buses have seat belts, but at my school (and many in the area) we were never required to use the seatbelts. So these buses just had dangling seat belts with no use and unhinged passengers lol
I love face to faces
This video turned into a life lesson 😂😂😂
Never have I heard a more southern saying than "we don't believe in seatbelts"
These the most wholesome yet weird laws I have ever heard of
“I wonder what anime Jerome would be isekaied into” -Captain Blastem 2023 (10:42)
In idaho, our schoolbuses don't have seat belts unless it is a very fancy bus that has a toilet on it, then there are lap belts. Also in most of Idaho's small towns it is ok to ride in the bed of a pickup truck or on a trailer while going through town. The cops won't care as long as you aren't being as stupid to put your legs or any other body part off of the pickup or trailer.
Chaos (About this seatbelt thing in America anyone in a vehicle is required to wear a selt belt by law)
As someone in Utah none of our buses have seatbelts. Except the really nice long distance buses you rent
feel like i've seen this one before, but will still watch to refresh memory
In Massachusetts we had seatbelts on the school busses but literally no one ever used them. They just existed. Heck, sometimes even the driver wasn’t wearing theirs
Hey fellow Massachusetts person
Also
Yea this is completely correct
Man, everyone who rode the bus never wore the seat belt because it's a really big vehicle, but we probably should have 😂
Can the buddies play Upgun. Its 3d Rounds
Day 363 of asking Jerome to play Halo Infinite
Imagine being a crossing guard and you see this
If this video doesn't represent daily traffic then I don't know what does
As far as I'm aware we still have no seatbelt and I think it stayed the same, even though about 2 years ago when someone hit the school bus and instead of calling the parents they went through and got some doctors over to check the kids out, and the parents only found out when some of the students texted their moms saying that their neck hurts, the school had a lot to answer for after that.
4:30 Monkey must have see some things, like why did he say that of all things?
in texas most school busses still have no seat belts
In Georgia the front seats had the seatbelts but the back is a roller coaster ride all the time
dropsy said push push let go honey
I love the new thumbnails
honestly i have to say this W thumbnails like you have really stepped up with thumbnails because i remember them being only in game footage now a days it looks like a scene from a movie .
Jerome, in our school, people stand up on the school bus to make a point
I love your videos keep it up
Growing up as a fellow New Jersey person we definitely had seat belts
Jersey is special you aren’t smart enough to pump your own gas
@@shureborn bruh stop playing dont start being a jerk outta nowhere
It took me like 11 years to find it that buses had seatbelts
I love psa Jerome

I grew up in Massachusetts and never saw seat belts on busses, at least from '03 to '16
Here in Florida we had seatbelts on school busses, they were only recommended, not mandatory
11:13 That poor bike.
In the south, if you are on a school bus and hit a bump...lord save you cause you will go flying. Especially at the back of the bus.
8:20 easy fix the say no to the seat belt go down an empty road fast the slam on the breaks they hit their face and get mad at you but you reply "well I was wearing my seat belt so why weren't you". (Don't actually do that tho lol)
its not uncommon to get air on the school bus, especially on the southern backroads
I love in the Midwest and the only buses that have seat belts are preschool and SPED buses. The rest are just seats. No seatbelts
I know this map i did this with my friends last year and what i can say for this is that never ever pissed your friends if you want to finish the race
As a kid who grow up in Pennsylvania I have never seen a school bus with seatbelts
growing up in the midwest I never saw a seatbelt on a school bus at a public or private school.
There are no longer seat belts on buses because the hurt more than they help in a lot of cases.
Down here in Georgia, none of our school busses had seatbelts. They always said we were safer without them due to how the busses were designed or something like that
School busses don't need seat belts because they are so much higher up than other cars and because of the compartmentalization with the seats
Growing up in texas we didn't have seat belts on the bus I remember sitting in the back and my bus driver hit a bump so hard I actually got launched out of my seat and my girlfriend couldn't help but laugh.
Have you guys ever seen the, I believe, Tarantino movie Deathproof? There's a girl who has one foot dangling out the car window when the guy crashes the car, she no longer owned a left leg after that... (I think she died anyway, but yeah.)
It depends on the school bus, I had a bus with and without seat belts.
Where in Wisconsin did Stead go to school? My school district only had a couple of buses fully equipped with seatbelts, the rest had a couple of seats with seatbelts at best.
I should mention, I only ever rode on the bus for field trips, the T.A.G. program, and for the sports I was in for middle and high school, so I'm not exactly an expert on my school district's bus fleet, but I only ever had 1 bus with seatbelts, which was the one I went to T.A.G. in. I should also mention that I graduated in 2022, so as far as I'm aware the district's bus fleet still only had a couple equipped with seatbelts.
In pennsylvania only the first 2 front seats had lap seat belts and the short buses had them but no where else
Only seen 1 bus with seatbelts ever
Jerome channeled his inner papa bak
Growing up in the south east I have never seen a seat belt on any bus not just school busses
My dad used to not wear a seat belt and then he got into an accident. To this day, he still refuses to wear a seat belt and has given me no method to the madness
Yep in the south if you where at the back of the bus when it hit a bump you would fly😂😂
In the UK i have only seen a single bus with seatbelts, almost all have none at all
Some of our school buses only have lap belts in the first 2 rows if at all.
You put on a seat belt on a farm feeding cows 8:31
9:25 NYC traffic
4 min gang
1 hour gang
In Connecticut we have seatbelts but only the from 2 seats (front left and front right)
hi
Here before they change FAce back to Face
Wanna talk about motorcycling without a helmet? 😵
I never had seatbelts here in Minnesota
Mid west state no seat belts on most buses there where a few that did but only the front seats and they were only used for kids that could not sit still
I think a reason school buses in my area don’t have seatbelts is because it’s cause efficient
Seatbelt on schoool bus nah the south is different
Wait till they find out that no public bus in the UK has seatbelts
I only had seatbelts on field trips
In my school busses we didn’t have seatbelts and we would stand up sometimes in the middle of the aisle
Nice thumbnail
I’m from Michigan we never had seat belts in buses either
Some schools bus stills don’t have seats seat belt but there again i in south
I grew up in SD and i didn't even know busses had seatbelts. At least mine didn't. Then there was the wheel seat where you would be in the fetal position the entire time just praying that you didnt hit a bump
Grew up in Delaware, there were never any seatbelts. There was only one time, there were seatbelts. There were only a few, and only the tall kids got them. I was young, like in kindergarten
PA didnt have any seatbelts on the school bus as of 5 years ago xD
Education with the buddies
I think only 6 states require a school bus to have seat belts so I assume most states are not going to add them unless the government subsidizes it.
I never saw seatbelts in Illinois and Indiana growing up
growing up in australia we didnt have school buses in a sense we did have school busses but the where exactly the same as the public buses as well as they had no seatbelts all together. also on a side note why is that jerome gets 1st on the more chaotic face to face and mega ramps but normal ones he's deadlast or nearlast the more chaotic jerome has a higherchance to get high up the less chaotic his more likely to get lower down the leaderboard
Being an Arkansan I think we had seat belts on the front row but that’s it
6:34 I didn't have seat belts on the bus ether
No belts on our buses in UT
Growing up in Washington state we didn’t have seatbelts on school buses
Dallas Texas here, no bus seatbelts lol
It scares me that my sisters actually do things like not putting on their seat belts or putting their feet up where they're not supposed to be.
LOL the title
I’m in the Midwest there is no seatbelts on the buses
Yeah we still dont have seatbelts.
Probably gonna stay like that long after i graduate.
Seatbelts on a bus are super dangerous, no buses outside of buses for those who are impaired should have seatbelts, too dangerous
