These speed test aren't everything. Opening small apps are nothing for the processors. A12 and 845 still excels over the 980 in terms of their graphic processor.
I would wish to see Phonebuff style speed test on the Mate 20 Pro vs the iPhone because his series of apps are way more demanding than all these small apps.

For all the people who think that a phone is faster than the other just cause it opens appa faster, thats not how it works. An iphone 6s and iphone 8 were tested like this and the iphone 6s opened apps faster that doesnt mean iphone 6s is faster than iphone 8. i still cant belive that people say rip iphone xs just cause it opened apps milliseconds slower than the mate 20 pro. Actually this isn’t a way to do a speed test. Method done by Phonebuff is true style to determine the fastest phone. And yeah. iPhone animations are longer cuz they’re natural. If you turn them off then iPhone’s gonna kill every competition.

I already know that you will do the baby and you do not care but if you want I'll explain something from the technical point of view: All the social style app and from the long medium loading open faster on Android for a single difference: IOS does not show you the app until it is loaded to 100%, while Android shows you a sort of "preview". In fact, all medium-loading apps on Android in the first 3-4 seconds have many lags and are not stable before 6-7 seconds. Instead on IOS these applications take 1-2 seconds to open, but then they are immediately reactive. Instead IPhone wins on the app type PUBG because they have a longer and heavier loading, and that requires the use of power cores, since the A12 is more powerful than the Kirin 980, but the lower frequency cores are less performant than those of the Kirin (I repeat , about those power the situation tips) and these lower power cores are those used for apps like social, and games like Mario
