- One of the most commented things on any of my boat walkthroughs is about how high the prices are. Everyone seems to think that boats cost what they did 10 years ago. That is why today, we are taking a short walk around the convention center to find the MOST AFFORDABLE Center Consoles at the show. These boats are the LEAST EXPENSIVE I could find at the show that fit our criteria. Hope this helps shed some light on the current market and why some other boats I show cost what they do.

The guys over on Classic Mako have the right idea. Find an old Mako with good bones. Fix the problems they usually have at that age, do the repairs, put a brand new outboard and controls on it, and have yourself a hell of a boat for a lot less than $50,000.
Honestly I agree with this. I’m a big fan of used boats. Buy a good hull slap a new motor and electronics on it and your ready to fish!
Avid makes the 23 FSX with a MSRP of just over $45K and a 23 MAG with a MSRP just a touch over $48K. They are aluminum but they are very good boats.

@@LivinSalty i run a 23 Robalo r180. Probably one of the best deep v hulls. At. 18ft 4in she handles ocean like a bogger boat
