It's really touched. I was about to cry. Everyone somehow goes through tough time and we should help them whenever we can.

That’s magic never give up was semi homeless years ago couldn’t get the dole they lost my file when I went interstate found it 4 months later got back paid but boy did I do it tough kicked right on since then few ups and downs but own my home savings good super good job construction feel blessed often help the homeless and smirk at the ones who had me wrote off reap what you sow
@@gary36104 great comment. Glad to hear that you found a way out of your homelessness. It's a very hard cycle to lift yourself out from as you'd be well aware. The psychological scars that it causes can really last. Great to heat what you've achieved!

It's now 2021, with recent housing rent which has skyrocketed, there are more people struggling to find accommodation in most states. It's gonna get worse unfortunately. Every little bit helps, acknowledgement and compassion goes a lot further. God bless you for your big ❤️.

Years ago Shanaka Fernando who ran the “Lentil As Anything” restaurants in Melbourne would help the homeless people and let them have meals to eat at his restaurants, but the volunteer workers there would become nasty and resentful of this and refuse to serve homeless people any meals and turn them away.
Nine degrees at night is not that cold. I used to sleep in zero degrees temperatures at night for a long time and got used to it. The coldest I got was minus two degrees.

Also since I live in Australia I saw a homeless woman with lots of bags with aliumium cans like coke, beer we helped her and it was sad when my dad told me that she is homeless but she got at least 50$ which is great for her.

I met Adam roughly 12 years ago when I was on the streets, sad to see he is on the streets as he wasn't when I met him he had dreams of being a musician.
He seemed like a really lovely bloke. He was well spoken, very respectful and seed educated. I'd love to know his story and try to help him out.

All you gotta do is think of your brother or sister doing it rough on the streets freezing their ass off all night. $50 buck dosent sound like much... hell I remember waiting at the bus stop when I forgot my jacket at 5 am my nipples were bullets image trying to sleep on cold hard footpath all night

It has nothing to do with race. Unfortunately, some people's circumstances change. Life can change in a blink of an eye. One day you'll have family, money, support and good fortune, and you can lose it all very quickly. It's very sad, but you can end up with nothing, fast.

@@TheIbi1983 I've been in the hat homeless world,you may as well be invisible..I could never beg,for money,and as a former enrolled nurse,a bit too savie,as knew where to shower,shave,and wash in Sydney. I now have a 2 bedroom flat in Wollongong,my birth place, happier to a point, starting courses,to get employment,and busy to stop the monkey. ..damn that monkey would still have career,and self worth.keep safe to all who are homeless,and pray that albo will invest...unlike the jetseting, Hawaii bound scomo,and his Christian/liberal mates

Your a good man. I was homeless for a year back in 2018 . but finally got out of that cycle. Now I have bought a house , car etc. And working at a zoo which I did before the storm. Cheers mate. Keep it up. Just one small thing, even just asking if someone is ok can mean a shitload to someone who is doing tough. Total respect. 🤘💚🦧🦍🐒💚
