Sax player is Mark Rivera. Mark also can play guitar and piano as well as random things like tambourine and triangle. He is has an amazing energy on stage. He stills play sax with Billy 42 years later. You can see him quite prominently on the Billy Joel special that was on CBS last week and on Paramount +. @@davidtullis2810 a lot of them were written when Richie was still playing. He was great as well. Billy has always had great Sax players. Mark’s energy on stage is what makes him special to me. He gives 110% every night.

Brenda and Eddie are every Long Islanders imaginary friends thanks to Billy. I grew up fully invested into their imaginary lives. 😂 It's almost impossible for me to put Billy Joel songs in any order, but this one and Pressure and Goodnight Saigon and Innocent Man and...ok, I'll stop. I have too many favorites. If you plan on jumping into the 80s you will have to have Duran Duran and INXS on your list. Btw, that's a clarinet, not flute.
