Huge size difference, so obviously JJ would sleep him, but pound for pound, Deji is by FAR the most technical/better boxer out of the two of them. It's crazy to say Deji has had a lot less training than KSI, you would not guess that just by looking at their fights.
If Deji just had JJ’s work ethic, he would beat JJ 9 out of 10 times

technique wise yea deji is better, but outside of that KSI would destroy him in a fight lol. Better endurance, strength, work ethic, carries KSI
He did say if they both trained as hard as each other but that’s highly unlikely cos they are different
Huge natural size difference too, if Deji decided to lose weight like JJ does for his fights, he would be 4 weight classes below JJ, that comes as a part of the work ethic you mentioned, it feels like JJ is terrified of failure, Deji doesn't care as much.
Ksi is just more ambitious and if he has a goal he forces himself to get there which is how he built himself up for youtube/rapping/ whatever else ideas he had. He had no room for failure because he had no one else to fall back on but himself. Deji on the other hand could be more laidback cuz if anything he had failed, he could easily rely on his brother to pick him up and help him out. He never had to be ambitious because he always had someone there. As an African, I can assume thats the mentality of their house. KSI being the first born having to lead the way for his brother and as a result his brother becoming complacent and never driving to achieve his own goals. Idk i could just be waffling tho

If deji actually puts in the work and pushes himself as hard as jj then he would be a better Technical boxer but it's hard to compare jj to someone until they get into the ring cause tommy was supposed to be a better boxer and barely scraped away with a victory.
Deji is overrated. His stamina is still a big problem. He beat Fousey, but he was out of gas very early into the fight and looks like one of the most un athletic humans ever, forgot to even going to talk about his embarassing LS. Hopefully he wins more fights, then we can talk.

@KMD-qj1qc I hate this narrative in boxing, "A fighter beat B fighter so that makes A fighter trash", its nit who you fight its how you do fighting them, Deji dominated his last 2 misfits fights easily, he's literally an influencer he's not trying to go and be a 8 division world and lineal champion. Even if this was pro fighting , Deji would be fighting guys like this anyways, journeyman who are just there to boost the record until the real fights come in.

I feel like people forget this about some youtuber fighters. They treat them like actual fighters.
Yes Deji is better technically then KSI, throws better punches, better footwork, better head movement etc but he lacks aggression. And when you’re this early in your boxing journey as these guys are, aggression and athleticism is massive. KSI wins purely because of that, KSI is more athletic and aggressive then Deji and would overwhelm him. This is why you sometimes see guys who only have a year/6 months experience lose to guys who r novices. The skill of these guys whilst higher then novices isn’t enough to overcome overly athletic/aggressive fighters.
You’ve seen this so many times in CZcams fights. Faze Temperrr is a better boxer then Slim, but Slims aggression overcame Temperrr. King Kenny is a better boxer then Ashley Rak-Su, but Ashley Rak-Sus aggression and athleticism won him the fight.
I try not to pick these fights based on skill (unless you’re Jake Paul who has been dedicated since the start of 2020) but i try to pick them on who is the more aggressive/athletic/dominant fighter. Obviously skill comes into it, but if i see a guy who’s very aggressive even if he’s not quite as good as the other youtube guy i will pick him.

I laugh and also get mad every time these influencers say “I train like a pro boxer, I’ve been sparring with pro boxers and keeping up with them.” But then fight night happens and their skills are barely just mediocre. 😂😂😂 I can’t be the only one noticing all these guys saying the same lines right??
Do you know the difference between sparring and pro fighting? Obviously skill wise they arent on the same level but in sparring, Yes influencers may 'keep up' with pro boxers but do you not understand that on the night, under the lights that shows the inexperience? Of course most of it goes out the window during the actual fight because they dont have the experience of fighting under the lights, which will build over time
A ‘pro boxer’ isn’t someone who’s necessarily good at boxing, KSI was a pro boxer against Logan, all it’s means is your fighting in fights sanctioning by a professional boxing organisation, there’s thousands of boxers worse then Jake Paul and Ksi on the world just fighting pay check to pay check to feed themselves and/ or their families

However I’m stating these guys that consistently say “im on a pro level, I train and keep up with pros.” When in reality yes they train with them but are the these pro boxers really saying after the session damn they whooped my ass? Most likely no because they tone it down when working with these guys. I get it some people in this scene are a different story but majority of them say the same 1,2 lines to sound cool. I actually box and spar with a few pros and I know they don’t go all out when we spar. But you don’t hear me blasting that I’m a pro and on their level. You feel me?
