I used to be team No Enhancements. I didn’t like when clients show me a picture of a cut that has been enhanced. I figured if I couldn’t do it with just my clippers and shears then I wouldn’t do it. I have been licensed since ‘93 and enhancements were just too new Skool for me. I have now changed my mind. I use the airbrush occasionally now. I’m 49 and I realized I need to stay relevant to stay in business or I’ll end up like Cedric the entertainer in the Barbershop movie.

I'm glad you addressed the fact that you weren't into enhancements a year or so ago. Whether if it meant fibers in general or hair color but either way, it was addressed. I myself wasn't into using either one but once I had a client request it, I realized how much cleaner my haircuts were (if done right). Props for making this video, man. It's been a long time coming 👌🏽

Dispite the question marks, i understood completely as a fellow barber. And to be truthful, sum ppl dont need them, like older gents and sum kids. But it def helps for ppl with then spots and waves, and line ups too. I just hate when ppl try to play magic and over do it.
I know this is an old video but this is a jewel right now! With the Pandemic alot of us are cutting our hair ourselves! My previous barber used the fiber in conjunction with the dye, trying to get that same effect.

I’m a freshman this year and it’s the time I really explore career options. I always thought in the past that I’ve wanted to be a trauma surgeon. I’m a barber that uses spray if client wants it. I don’t use it like some barbers use it on every cut. Some will hide imperfections where they messed up client or gapped them.

I believe so, but it's because he really is a CZcamsr. Like nothing against others it's not their skills but jeezy has that CZcamsr personality. Like he is funny, cool, but a corny at the same time. So he wasn't just cutting hair or telling us how to get waves, but he was making skits and had a different for every intro for the longest. He didn't make the we've community, but he did (not by himself) take it To new heights.
So when you see barbers who just have CZcams channels acting like they sonned him because they were on CZcams first and were actual barbers they really just envious. I see why he was just like we need to focus on ourselves.

Is there a difference between a temple fade and a high taper?
For a person that is just starting, would you say start off with the fiber enhancement? Is it easy to clean up, if you mess up?
I actually use both the fibers and kiss mixture. It lasts longer and gives off a natural look every time.

I used to not like enhancements either. I’ve always been a guy who MUST shower 🚿 🧼 after a haircut. But after my barber used it on my fade I left it in after the cut and showered the next day, my shape up lines were really crisp and noticeable due to the stain of the semi permanent dye, once you allow the enhancement time to settle your hair will look real crisp 👍

Hey Jeezy, got a question? I use the kiss express with water. If I use the kiss with alcohol does it dry slower and allow me to edge up better with the razor? When I use water I normally have to hurry with the razor work if I need to clean it up a bit.
