    Hey there...love all your upbeat vids. I do have a question or 2 forya. I will be bringing some OTC supplements for things like heartburn or a pain reliever like Ibuprofen but didnt see anywhere to declare them on this card. Also, will I have to declare my leather belt and wallet? THX

    • @NZPocketGuide
      @NZPocketGuide  Před 6 měsíci

      Same response here for convenience: It's always a good idea to double-check these things. Typically, arrival cards focus on prescription medications and larger quantities. For over-the-counter pills like those for heartburn and headache, you often don't need to declare them unless you have a substantial amount. However, it's recommended to keep them in their original packaging to avoid any confusion. If you have specific concerns, you might want to contact the relevant authorities or check the latest guidelines online. Safe travels! ✈️🌍

    Great presentation. Must stress that in New Zealand bio security is taken seriously. Food especially uncooked and plants can carry disease so bags will be checked. Same with hunting and camping gear. NZ does not have the ticks that carry Lyme disease for example.

    • @NZPocketGuide
      @NZPocketGuide  Před 4 měsíci +1

      Yes, you will need to include information about your 2-year-old child on the Passenger Arrival Card when entering New Zealand. While the child may not fill out a card individually, their details should be included on the card filled out by an accompanying adult. This ensures that all passengers, regardless of age, are accounted for in terms of biosecurity and immigration requirements. It's all part of New Zealand's efforts to protect its unique environment and maintain security. Safe travels to you and your family!
