A thing I do to test out what a scent pretty much smells like is to make an unscented candle, light it and wait for a melt pool. Then drop a small bit of the scent into it. It will burn off after 10 or 15 mins, then you can try another scent without wasting a lot of oil and wax making individual candles. It's not perfect, the fragrance will be a bit strong, but it's a jumping off point to see if it is worth pursuing or just a straight up NO. :)

I always blend at least two fragrances together to give my candles and wax melts there own unique scent.
I am working on body oils now doing the same method.
Just a little tip, you might want to at least read the description that Candle Science gives for each fragrance instead of saying you don’t know how to describe it. That would be a little more helpful in a review. Just trying to help.😉

Just found your channel and have subscribed. I love candle science as well. One I purchased that I didn't think I would like as much is tomato leaf but it smells really good. Had several people smell it and they really liked it as well.

Try adding your gingerbread to a coffee scent and make a gingerbread latte, you may find that working for you a bit better for holiday time 🤍

I purchased from candle science also. I love the scents also. I have some of the ones you have. Then afterward I decided to make soap, not candles. I hope they can be ok in soap lol. I am going to wait for everything to cool down and see if they can be added ok. Candle science has palate free, that’s what I love.

Cashmere plum is absolutely amazing!! I highly recommend it!! And I truly have no idea how to describe it, it’s a one of a kind scent. If you are on the fence I would recommend just ordered a sample of it from candle Science! ❤️❤️
Cashmere plum smells sexy. I don't think it has a clean scent at all.

I actually used cashmere plum in wax melts and it had no hot throw.. I used soy wax . Cold thrive was minimal too :-/
@@Josiemarm I just got it maybe a month ago and OOB it’s okay. I have yet to test it but did get a 16 oz bottle 🙄😬. It’s actually shameful at how many bottles of FO I have….. Anyone need some new oils? 😂🤣😂
