HH Sheikha Moza's Speech at the Intl Day to Protect Education from Attack 2022

‎أكدت صاحبة السموّ بأن التعليم هو سلاح الأطفال الوحيد لمواجهة تبعات النزاعات، وعلى المجتمع الدولي أن يعمل سوياً لحماية هذا الحق. كان ذلك في كلمة ألقتها سموّها في حدث رفيع المستوى أقيم بعنوان "لنعمل معاً لحماية التعليم من الهجمات" في مقر اليونسكو بمدينة باريس بمناسبة اليوم الدولي لحماية التعليم من الهجمات. وقامت صاحبة السموّ بجولة في المعرض الفني المصاحب للحدث الذي تضمن أعمالاً فنّية تعكس وضع التعليم في أوقات الحروب والأزمات.
Taking part in a high-level event at UNESCO Paris, to mark the commemoration of the International Day to Protect Education from Attack, Her Highness emphasized that education is the only weapon children can use to overcome the challenges they face, and that it is past time for the international community to protect every child’s human right of education.
Her Highness also toured the “Act Now to Protect Education from Attack” art exhibition at UNESCO, featuring art piece exhibits showcasing education in times of crisis and conflict.
