You guys could do an entire week of nothing but King George and still not react to all of his number 1's. He is THE man
You could do one Number One a week, and it would take you 14 months.
George wears Willie Nelson pajamas. 💚
Need to check out "The Fireman " .
Aw come on! He’s only had like 60 of them!😂
Word. Baby Blue--oh my. And, I saw God Today.
"He must have stolen some stars from the sky and gave them to you to wear in your eyes" in my opinion is one of the best lyrics ever.
Re: Romeo and Juliet
Totally agree!!!!!!
A guy once told me this as a pick up line and it wasnt the same. 🤣
@@RockFan89
For me it’d go like this:
“Excuse me, I think I stole something and stuck it in your eyes.”
I suck lol
Ahhhhh, King George! You can't go wrong with any song of his. Just listen to his whole collection of 50 Greatest Hits. You won't be disappointed! Without George, there'd be no Garth. George was a HUGE influence on him!
Well George and Chris LeDoux (always spell it wrong it seems)
60 #1's
@@polocash11 It was 50 at the time that collection was released. You can't stop The King from creating great songs, though!
@polocash11 My husband and I were just watching a documentary about Garth, and he remembered the DJ introducing Geoege Strait as "a new young artist from Texas, and we think you're gonna like him." The song they played after that inro was Unwound. He said that's when he decided that he wanted to be a country singer. I thought that was pretty cool!
@@that1dragonkid
I used to listen to a Dallas station when Clint Black was starting his career. He was always hanging out at the radio station. George was pure eye candy, Clint was too.
George Strait also made a movie called Pure Country. He not only starred in the movie but also performed the soundtrack. It came out in 1992 and is definitely worth checking out. I think y'all would really enjoy it. His performance of the song "I Cross My Heart" in the movie is Epic. In regard to Tim McGraw, you should start with his first hit song "Indian Outlaw".
Yes I have that movie on DVD and watch it alot. Great movie
There was also the album Pure Country that went along with the movie and included all of the songs in the movie.
That soundtrack might be my favorite George Strait album.
My nephew loved Tim Mcgraw doing "friends in low places."
Yes, you definitely need to watch Pure Country! The music is amazing, and it has a great plot. Love that movie!
My heart goes back in time with this song. I remember slow dancing to this at the rodeo, with my boyfriend singing along to this in my ear. Makes me cry even 35 years later.
The singles discography of American country music singer George Strait comprises 126 charted singles. Starting with "Unwound" in 1981, Strait has reached the Top 10 of the Hot Country Songs charts with all but 14 of his single releases. He has 44 No. 1s on the Billboard country charts, the most of any artist. Strait has also amassed 86 Top 10 hits on Billboard's Hot Country Songs chart, second only to Eddy Arnold, who had 92.
King George
So y'all like George and Garth, no check out Alan Jackson.
@@MrBillybisbee They've done don't rock the jukebox, but I could always go for more Alan. He, for me is #1 greatest country artist. Grew up with him.
@@themanofmovies
He doesn't even need to sing a note. I could just sit and look at him.
Pure Eye Candy !
The original message has A.I. written all over it 😲🤔😬
Omg, Tim McGraw has so many great songs, Indian Outlaw, Don’t Take the Girl, Live Like You were Dying, I Like it, I Love IT, Highway Don’t Care, Something Like That, Humble and Kind, the list goes on and on
"Live Like You were Dying' is such a touching song. It was released the same year his father, baseball pitcher Tug McGraw, passed after his battle with brain cancer. For something on the lighter and humorous side, I think they'd get a kick out of "Do You Want Fries With That".
They'd love "Humble and Kind".
Don't forget let make love I think that's the name of it
Carrying Your Love With Me
Everywhere! And When She Wakes Up and Finds Me Gone.
Dwight Yoakum is another country artist you guys can look into. You've heard him before, his Guitars, Cadillacs is playing at the beginning of Terminator 2 in the bar scene. And you've got the CD.
I do hope they will listen to Dwight. He has such a great voice and a lot of great songs!
Guitars, Cadillacs
Yes! Gary Stewart as well. Love King George. ❤️
George Strait was also in a movie called Pure Country. The soundtrack is awesome!
I agree. The soundtrack for Pure Country has some amazing songs.
They need to do the movie Pure Country on their movie channel!
I Cross My Heart is one of the best love songs ever. Also love Baby Your Baby, which sounds great while driving through the rolling hills, and Last in Love which is perfect for a rainy day.
@CW-17 for sure. That is the song we used as our first dance at our wedding
I may or may not have watched it twice this week. Thanks, free movies on CZcams. lol
Definitely one of the all time greats! He has so many great songs like I Can Still Make Cheyenne, Give It Away, A Love Without End Amen, Oceanfront Property, The Chair, Baby's Gotten Good At Goodbye, and Baby Blue..... And a hundred more!
Yeah, George really doesn't have a bad song, does he? 😊
The Chair!
So many great George Strait songs to check out. Try ‘The Chair’ next. For your movie channel you should react to his movie ‘Pure Country.’ If your looking for a Tim McGraw song you have to start with ‘Don’t Take The Girl.’
Dwight Yoakam has an incredible array of country hits. Check him out. "Fast As You", "Takes A Lot To Rock You Baby", "I Sang Dixie", "Things Change" are a few of his hits.
Lord have mercy! Those long legs... ;-)
@@trudymeans3520 😂 It takes Dwight 20 minutes to fit into his jeans
Might I also add: A Thousand Miles From Nowhere, The Streets of Bakersfield, Turn it on Turn it Up Turn Me Loose, and Nothing. Some of personal favorites!
@@trudymeans3520 and @cee bee: Yes! Dwight has such a distinct look, you don't even need to see his face to recognize him.
Love love love me some Dwight Yoakam Baby things Change is my favorite song
George Strait is country music. Blue Clear Sky, I Cross My Heart....100's more.
Oh man. I never listened to much country until my friend from Louisiana introduced me to George Strait’s music when I was about 15.(92ish)
His music is so great and his voice has such a pure quality. Love love love George Strait! For me his 80s and early 90s are my favorite.
Y'all say at the end of this video that you want to listen to Tim McGraw since have not done so yet. You reacted to his song, "Where the Green Grass Grows" last year. Amber got real emotional and loved it, saying it reminded her of her dad. I still remember her tears. Tim has a ton of hits, but had a HUGE cross over hit with Live Like You Were Dying. It was everywhere. It has the most life affirming message you will probably ever hear.
Live Like You Were Dying. I will never forget this song. In 2009, my two sisters and I (I am the youngest) took a week-long road trip. It was the last big trip for the three of us. My middle sister had terminal cancer and passed the following year at the age of 42. On the trip home that summer, Live Like You Were Dying came on the radio. None of us said a word, just cried silently through the song. I still can't listen to it without the tears flowing.
@@okielady73 I'm so sorry for your loss.
@@alicesmith7020 I echo this, @okielady73. May you be comforted for your loss by The Omnipresent One. May your sister always rest in Shalom, and may her memory always bless you.
@@alicesmith7020 Thank you. ❤
@@RabbiSteve Thank you. ❤
There’s a reason why everyone calls him “King George!” 60 #1 Hits, more than any other artist in the history of recorded music, in all genres.
Just been reading the comments. 60 #1 hits!? Wow, that's mind blowing 🤯 🎼🎙🎶❤
There are so many great George Strait songs to check out. "Run", "Give It Away", "You Really Shouldn't Be Doing This", "I Can Still Make Cheyenne", "Carried Away".
also Tim McGraw is incredible, one of my favorites from him is "Please Remember Me", but some other standouts are "Live Like You Were Dying", "Everywhere", "Down On The Farm", "Something Like That"
you also need to revisit Martina McBride: "Independence Day", "Anyway", "This One's For The Girls", "My Baby Loves Me", and "Cry On The Shoulder Of The Road".
Love all these suggestions💕💕
I would add some Randy Travis: Forever and Ever Amen, Deeper Than The Holler, If I Didn't Have You 💖
@@juliewhite7469 I would also add "God's Will" and "I'm Gonna Love You Through It" by Martina McBride..
@@8tomtoms8 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗
His catalog is almost endless. If you want to see a different side of George, you might want to check out "All My Exes Live in Texas," or "The Fireman."
I danced thousands of miles to this song. Always worked, along with The Chair.
"Carrying Your Love With Me" is my favorite George Strait song but he never did a bad song. ❤ Oh! And "Run" is a must listen to!
Ocean front property - George Strait J/A - he had 50 songs that went to number one on the country charts. He had more songs than that that white top five. His catalog goes way way deep and is really good. Love to see you react to that one next!
He had 60 #1's by the time he retired.
Love love love his voice and this song. A living legend. As a retired fire fighter, I love his song The Fireman.
George Strait has one of the clearest voices; makes him so easy to listen to. Has a huge catalog, too many to mention! Another classic Country voice is Alan Jackson; the two paired up for the classic “Murder on Music Row”❤❤
You simply MUST do his song ‘The Chair.” You can stay on George for weeks, I’ll be right here listening to you.
King George is a legend and deserves all the honors. He has so many hit songs. The Chair, All my exes live in Texas, Blame it on Mexico, Cowboy rides away, Baby blue, Fool Hearted Memory, etc....
Yes! My favorite George Strait song of all time! Thanks for doing it! Of course, he has so many more to choose from. I'd recommend "The Chair".
As for Tim McGraw, his song, "Don't Take The Girl" is one every reactor has to do eventually. Have tissues ready. Also, "Live Like You Were Dying" is a must-listen.
Ah, King George Strait. He IS the undisputed King. I grew up in San Antonio, and he’s from around there. Even if you weren’t a country fan, you loved George. He has SOO MANY great songs. This one is one of my favorites, too. Glad y’all checked this one out.
You need to listen to The Chair by George another great song
This song makes me think of my parents waltzing in the living room when they thought we were all in bed. ❤
It doesn’t get any better than 80’s Strait.
True That.
I love this song another beautiful George Strait song is I Cross My Heart BTW love y'all reactions videos
Yes, the King Of Country. You will never get a bad song by him. ❤ 60 # 1 hits.
AMBER ! I love Kane too.
You should check out his song, "Check Yes or No"....so sweet. Reminds me of notes that were passed in elementary school😁
Tim McGraw is great singing "Humble & Kind".
A song with Faith Hill that I really love right now is "Speak to a Girl" .
Both songs/videos are so strong & heart-felt.
I need you duet is good as well both songs show not just how great their voices are seprate but together and can hear how much they love each other some things you cant fake
He has such an excellent voice and so many great songs!
Gorgeous voice and such a cutie pie. My fav song of his is "I Cross my Heart" (so beautiful) from his movie "Pure Country". Thanx so much, Many Blessings
Love George. A living legend.... and he's aged sooooooooooo well ;). There are so many great country artists who gained career momentum in the 80's... Mark Chesnutt, Paul Brandt, Hal Ketchum (small town Saturday night is a good one by him).. Amber, I know you like sweet story songs so I'd suggest one of the ones that got me hooked on country music back in the day.... Bryan White's "Rebecca Lynn"... or there's Paul Overstreet's "Seein' my Father in Me" ... that'll get a tear or two going. Can't forget the women... Kathy Mattea, Suzy Bogguss, Patty Loveless, Reba (of course), Mary Chapin Carpenter... the list just goes on and on....
My favourite George song is I Cross My Heart. Will melt you out of your chair - I promise :)
King of Country right there! This a rabbit hole you won't regret. The Chair, Write This Down, The Fireman, and the list just goes on!
Strait Country! HUGE catalogue! So many great hits. Such a beautiful man.
I love all his music and this is a perfect song for the two of you.i love watching your reactions and you guys look good in love...stay blessed ❤❤❤
Humble and kind from Tim McGraw . And a bit of info for Jay. His dad was a great reliever for the Mets and the Phillies. Tug McGraw
KING GEORGE!!
George Strait has SO MANY good songs! For Friday, try Gretchen Wilson "Redneck Woman" or "I'm Here for the Party"
You guys have to get to some Dwight Yoakam. You’ll love his voice, stage presence and guitar playing. He has a cover of Suspicious Minds from Elvis but I’d like to see you so Fast As You first. You will love the guitar work in that one. Do the video!!! Plus he is in a movie called Sling Blade you guys have to watch also.
BIG EDIT: ALSO ALSO ALSO George Strait has a movie he stars in called Pure Country that is a must as well. You will love the soundtrack.
ONE MORE BIG EDIT: there is a video out on CZcams which I believe is a night honoring GS in which Jamie Foxx of all people is there on stage telling a story about being a young black male kid from TX and hearing GS was coming to town and tried to go see him but couldn’t get in. I believe Jamie sings this song(I’m fairly sure this is the song) on stage to honor George. It’s really nice.
💖 Dwight Yoakum! Little Sister is a good one 💕
I do love this song!!! Also would recommend I Cross My Heart! Such a romantic song!!! ❤❤❤❤❤. Amber I knew that you being so empathetic would appreciate the romance and heartache in country music!!! OK Jay, Tim McGraw's Don't Take The Girl, Live Like You Were Dyin', Indian Outlaw, or Just to See You Smile!!!
The King!!!!!! Goin to see him in August!!!!!!
i love Baby Has Gotten Good At Goodbye , beautiful song
George Strait is such a great singer, and sure good to look at😊this is a beautiful love song! Indian Outlaw,by Tim McGraw
Another country artist you need to hear from way back is Charlie Pride. My favorite songs from him is “Kiss an Angel Good Morning” and “Kaw-Laga.” You would love him! Y’all get me through my lunch hour every day at work feeling great! I absolutely love ❤❤ your channel!!!
You gotta listen to Mississippi Cotton pickin' Delta town
Mr. George Strait was my first concert he has so many great songs and I'm not the biggest country fan but he is one of the greats.
You MUST go down this rabbit hole. You won’t be disappointed and we’d all be grateful. King George is the MAN!
GREAT REACTION 🎉, BEAUTIFUL SONG THIS WAS REAL COUNTRY MUSIC, 👍
My freshman year I broke up w my girlfriend early in the year. For the next year she dated my nemesis lol. She seemed so happy and I played this song over and over knowing I had screwed up. It taught me a lesson. I got back together w her Junior year and we were inseparable until after we graduated and I had to move. This song is special.
List of must listen to by George:
I Cross My Heart
Check Yes or No
A Love Without End
She Let Herself Go
Carrying Your Love With Me
LOVE SOME KING GEORGE😍
As for Tim McGraw; he also has quite a catalog, from 1994 to the present. Check out “Don’t Take the Girl” ( a tearjerker); “Southern Voice”; “I Like It, I Love It”; “The Cowboy in Me”; & “My Next 30 Years” for starters!!❤❤❤
I can still make Cheyenne is my favorite George Straight song, but I don’t know if I have ever listened to one that I don’t like, amazing artist!
Im just gonna say, George is worthy of a spot on your wall of pictures... A BIG SPOT!
Love me some George Strait.
George has a lot of good songs. "I Cross My Heart" is one of the best love songs ever! "Ocean Front Property" and "Carrying your Love With Me" are great too!
You cannot go wrong w George Strait. Have you done “The Chair” yet? It’s another classic, storytelling great song.
George Straight is the King of country! 50 number one hits!
Boot scooted to George's songs many a Sunday afternoon, when all the rowdies were home hung over and the dance floor was wide open. With 41 U.S. Country #1 hits plus the 90 others that charted, there's a lot to choose from. I can very happily spend a lazy day listening to album after album of George
You've already done one of my faves "Amarillo by Mornin" some other's I think are great:
The Chair
All My Exes Live in Texas (will put a smile on your face)
Does Ft Worth Ever Cross Your Mind
Fool Hearted Memory(My all time fave from way back in 1982)
I never had any interest in country music until I heard this song over 25 years ago... George Strait is the GOAT!!!
Tim Mcgraw songs you say? For sure the one should react to first is Live like You're Dying. It is such a masterpiece.
George Strait the KING OF COUNTRY
King of country I have all his cds. Thank you for the country
Love George Strait. The king of country!! 🤠
King George 60 number 1 hits , i believe has more than any other country artist! 💕
Nobody can sing heartbreak like King George.
George Straight is the King of Country music in my opinion. He's pure country. I love all of his songs one of my favs is Cross My Heart... this is a love song.
Tim McGraw "Indian outlaw" or "Don't take the girl" Two early hits can't go wrong with any Tim song
I love Tim Mcgraw "don't take the girl" . I used to play it on repeat.
One of the best!! He is a true class act! He was in a movie and would not kiss his love interest in the movie because he refused to kiss any woman but his wife!!
King George!!! :)
Couple of my favs from George - "Let's Fall to Pieces Together" and "Fool Hearted Memory".
Y'all need to react to a Tim and Faith duet! "It's Your Love" would be a great one to start with! Also Tim Mcgraw's biggest hit, "Live Like You Were Dying".
For Garth, I think you'd really love "We Shall Be Free". 🙌
You should try a country/trucker song “Teddy Bear” by Red Sovine” or Tim McGraw’s “Don’t Take the Girl”. Tissue alerts for both.
I absolutely love this song ❤
Oooh, now that's a Country voice! Real nice. ❤🎶
There is not a bad George Strait song.
Now check out his movie, Pure Country...
He has like 60#1s. He is the king… so many great songs.. this is a classic ..
One of the greatest slow dance songs around.
If you want country romantic, listen to Chris LeDoux Just Look at You Girl. Chris was a rodeo champion that recorded country music and was a HUGE influence on Garth. He has other great songs but the simplicity of Just Look at You Girl makes it so heartwarming.
"You're love ain't just the hot sauce, it's the whole enchilada." Best song line ever!!!
This Cowboy's Hat! I love that song.
Hooked On An 8 Second Ride
Tim McGraw was and IS so popular that Taylor Swift first came on the scene with her #1 Hit Song..."Tim McGraw"
We see where her career has gone since then but the live version at the CMAs where she introduces herself to him and Faith before singing "Tim McGraw" is something I'll never forget.
Their duet for "Highway Don't Care" is fire!!
Love George strait music his music is good and easy to listen too
Beautiful and smooth. He is one of the greats. I love his voice.
The Chair, They Call Me the Fireman, Check Yes or No….there’s so much George Strait that is so good
George also has some great upbeat songs to try out. My favorites by him are "Adalida", "Unwound", "Love Bug", "Ace In the Hole", and "The Fireman".
I'm not a country fan but have always loved this song.
George Strait the man baby! You guys must watch him in Pure Country please!!!!
You guys have only begun to scratch the surface when it comes to King George.. over 50. Number one hits
Tim's song Live Like You Are Dying and another one, Humble and Kind ....two great songs you need to listen to.😃
George is the King!!
One of my top favorites.
Man this song teleports me to childhood. ❤❤❤
He is so smooth and handsome! He’s been my favorite since the 80’s!
The only one that could sing a love song using a chair. King George "The Chair".
George is an amazing artist. Saw him in concert years ago and it was great. So many great hits. Many are noted below, time and time again. "The Chair", "I Can Still Make Cheyenne", "I Hate Everything", "All My Ex's Live in Texas", "You Know Me Better Than That", "So Much Like My Dad", "When Did You Stop Lovin' Me" and that is barely a hint of his hits!!! Check out some of the female country greats too, like Teri Clark "I've Got Better Things To Do" and "I Just Wanna Be Mad For Awhile". Le Ann Womack "I'll Think of a Reason Later", but you have to listen closely to catch all the details of those lyrics. Lots to explore in country. Keep up the great work.
