A charming interview - well paced and always interesting . King asks some penetrating questions here but Nancy doesn't shy away from them. She was clearly devoted to her husband and I like the fact she was so loyal to his memory. One thing I've often found intriguing is that as a former actress she never appeared to have much confidence in these situations. Her guard was up!

Perhaps because during her time as first lady, she was often attacked, that she had too much influence and used the zodiac for important decisions

The Reagans are Right Wingers who put politics before people including their own kin. The daughter or her husband probably made some anti-fascist comment or criticized some imperialist maneuver either by Reagain (past tense) or the current administration. That was enough to get them turned out period and forever. I feel sorry for the wife, Mrs. Reagan but she has no wish to think herself out of the box.
By the wife First Ladies should be salaried. And maybe the term should be changed to the Mrs. President in tandem with Mr. President.
King is good at walking the line and getting politicians to talk about stuff.
