Something interesting I noticed is that Mach 8 has the same stats as the Inkstriker with one exception: invincibility. Mach 8 has more I-Frames than the Inkstriker.
I’ve realized that all he old combos don’t have a lot of handling, so here it goes: for the character you can select peach, daisy, yoshi birdo, inkling boy or tanooki mario for the kart your only option would be the city tripper for the wheels you can choose the gla, blue standard or standard tires for the glider you can choose the paper glider but i use the mktv parafoil because weight doesn’t really matter.. and there you go! a good combo I recommend. ( you can use this or not )

I was actually testing the best combo for Petey according to IGN (Flame Runner, Rollers, super glider) and it actually keeps up really well with the yoshi teddy buggy combo (from my research)
When will people understand that kart combinations literally don’t do anything for you. They only matter for time trials. The small amount of added speed means nothing when there are items.
My hopes for the other ones: Chain Chomp Kong-Squad Hammer Bro Monty Kamek Spike King BOBOMBA Chuck Petey Piranha Parakoopa Goomba (Or maybe a Luma cuz of the film like the blue one)

For competitive play use Rosalina/Link/King Boo on the Teddy Buggy/Cat Cruiser with rollers and paper glider. This might not be as suitable for time trials tho, which is why many time trialers use the yoshi/birdo/peach/daisy weight class. But this is all my opinion, feel free to mix and match if it suits your driving style better.
