Wish they had done a remake of PQ2 but with the PQ3 style with voice and stuff like that. Love the SCI games or whatever they were called, cant remember now. The type that kings quest 4 was also with the text parser, but it was such a dope game too bad it missed out on the PQ3/KQ5 treatment. i remember when i first had to shoot at Bains in the park once upon a time in the 90s when life wasnt this nonsense it has become today.
Has an amazing Miami Vice feel, especially with the opening. And Sonny Bonds is definitely a homage to Sonny Crockett.

It was actually a combination of Sonny Crockett and James Bond. That was what Jim Walls said in an issue of Sierra's _Interaction Magazine_.

I've never enjoyed playing adventure games but have great appreciation for their existence, if that makes sense.
Some of them can be better than movies, like this one.

Why don’t they make Police adventure games anymore?! These types of games were awesome!
I guess the public opinion isn't the same as it used to be for cops. They were very enjoyable though. I can recommend 'This is the Police' and 'Beat Cop' which are two games I need to longplay.

Apparently you get the Silver Star at the end even if you fire first. Were they channeling their inner Hans Solo anti-heroism by allowing this vs. the supposed ending of Sonny losing his job that there's no upload of on this site (that we know of)?

Yep. Both games came from Sierra so you'd see a lot of cross-over references between them.
In joke. They did that in many of the Sierra games. For example, in the first PQ, there was a reference to the dragon invading Daventry in KQ3.
Read all the personnel files. There are some really funny ones like the guy on pcp at the park. A repeat offender in the series

That's a different situation. He should've also gotten some other kind of award for that.
