  • Thank you for watching my latest video where I fit a set of EBC Sintered Pads to my Royal Enfield Interceptor 650. A piece of cake to fit. I'll let you know how they perform in a future video. www.tecbikeparts.com

    I have these pads on all 3 of my bikes. Best overall pads for the street IMO

    Be interested to know if the new pads have better performance and longevity. Good video nice and simple, well explained.

      @@VFRMitch How did they do?

    • @VFRMitch
      @VFRMitch  Před rokem +2

      @@not_enoughmana the EBC pads are very good indeed. A worthy upgrade. The OEM Ceat tyres are now struggling under enthusiastic braking.

      Hi Andrew. As promised. My verdict is they are now very acceptable indeed. So much so the OEM tyres now struggle to stop without complaining. Especially if not bone dry. Ive drifted it sideways a few times by accident ( Not by skill either ! ) . Tyre upgrade needed me thinks 👍

      @@VFRMitchThank you for posting your feedback. These pads are available here in India at a higher price than the stock Brembo ones. Also, I was under the impression that the stock pads at rated HH while they are in fact rated FF. I do a lot of hard braking and the brake discs on my Interceptor are often blue after some aggressive riding. If these are indeed a fair bit better, I will get these when I need new pads. Right now my bike has barely 2500 km on the clock so I estimate a few months before I need new ones, subject to how often my discs turn blue! 😅 By the way, have you posted your feedback in a video yet?

    These pads stop great but they still squeak on my 23 int650, so annoying! only the Rear squeaks.

    kindly consider EPFA 209 hh. they are lot more stopping power at speed, when cold EPfa are = to HH pads.
    for rear there is no need for the anti squeal shim, you can install it as it it from the pack.
    I have used EBC pads on ma motorcycle its awesome the brake feel so nice better than OEM and also lasts really really long EPFA HHin the fron and fa HHfor the rear

      Good to hear the anti squeel plates can be discarded.
      I left them out because I could not get the pads in with the plates.

    Common complaint with callipers is sticking sliders you did not lube either the front or rear calipers.

      Hi Roger. Thanks for watching. Mine are good at the moment. They’ll get a rebuild when they’ve seen a bit more wet weather. Only had about 700 dry miles on at time of the video.

    Why have you not had your caliers recalled. Btw i fitted SBS my personal favorite over ebc that tends to wear the disc more.

    • @VFRMitch
      @VFRMitch  Před rokem

      Was the recall not for the earlier bikes?? . Mines a 2022 . It went back to the dealer got it’s first service and nothing was said.

      Hi There. Mine is a 2022 Euro 5 model so I don’t see why not. Nothing is likely to have changed. Thanks for watching.

      They are available in India, mostly online for 3300 INR while the stock Brembo ones cost around 2600 INR, I think.
