Ingredients
12 cups kettle corn1 room temperature
½ cup white cake mix powder
16 oz. white chocolate melted
½ cup sprinkles
1 cup chocolate candies
Instructions
1. In a very large bowl, stir popcorn and cake mix together.
2. Microwave the chocolate on 30 second intervals in a microwave safe bowl until melted and smooth, stirring between each one.
3. Then, stir the melted chocolate into the popcorn bowl, reserving a little for the topping.
4. Add in sprinkles and chocolate candies and stir until well mixed, spread popcorn out on a large pan that’s been lined with parchment paper or wax paper.
5. Drizzle remaining melted white chocolate over the popcorn and top with extra holiday sprinkles.
6. Let sit for 30 to 45 minutes, then package up in airtight containers or consume immediately.
Notes
1. Instead of popping popcorn yourself, save time by using bagged kettle corn!
2. I use Sixlets in my mixture, but you could use M&M’s or another type of candy.
3. Lining the pan prevents the chocolate from sticking and makes it easier to clean.
Add-In Ideas:
Pretzels - Add a salty twist to this sweet dish!
Chocolate Chips - Use milk, dark, or white chocolate chips for an even sweeter bite!
Color - Feel free to drizzle with red and green candy melts for even more festive color!
Nuts - Want even more crunch? Add your favorite nuts into the popcorn mixture!
Peppermint - White chocolate and peppermint are a delicious combination! Try adding crushed candy canes to the mix!
