Avocado seeds won't grow and give the same avocado taste. They are not true to seed. It is a probability. Out of 10 to 20 avocado trees grown from seed probably only 1 will be of good taste. Also to bear fruit you need to plant both the male and female avocado plants close together so they can cross pollinate. The best way to grow an avocado tree is through grafting, because you can graft from an avocado tree that has favorable traits
