And Keep in mind, he does this short version of the song in the MIDDLE of his CONCERT, which is 2 hours long. And still keep every song in the high elite level of quality. The amount of energy, voice training, being consistent to not miss ONE NOTE are so insane!
He danced, he flew on the air with cable in the waist while belting a note, many genres of music. The flexibility is crazy!!! Other songs in this concert are just at that level.
He just sung the most interesting part of the song demanded by fans !

Dimash is pretty much always outstanding. Even his lesser performances, where he is ill, but still performing, would be considered masterful if anyone else did it. This is just Dimash having pure fun. If you want to hear more of Dimash using this high staccato to great effect, watch his official video for his original song Screaming. There, he plays piano and drums, as well as singing backing vocals for himself. (By the way, there is another version of him performing Screaming live on Idol Hits in China. That is also great, but for different reasons. It doesn't have the staccato tones he is using here, but does have some other interesting things going on. If you choose that one to react to, make sure to turn on subtitles - there are imbedded subtitles, but you need to also turn on the subtitles manually. You will know why at the point in the song where it becomes important.)
As other people have commented, in the film The Fifth Element, which is where this originates, it was performed by an alien opera singer. It is supposed to be impossible for a human to sing. For the movie, they digitally composed the performer singing the individual notes to produce the final piece. The original performer wasn't actually capable of singing what she seemed to do in the film.

I've also seen female singers attempt the Diva Dance, However they are in studio type setup, with big mics and headphones. Like you I noticed how effortless this was for Dimash and as you say, whilst walking about. Every time I hear Dimash I thank God for letting me alive with the gift of hearing to appreciate him.
👉 Many singers (male or female) have tried. Nobody sings this song as perfectly as Dimash ... apparently effortlessly, fluently with accurate staccati. 🌼🇩🇪

As you probably already know, Diva Dance is originally a song from the classic 1997 sci-fi thriller “The Fifth Element” starring Bruce Willis and Milla Jovovich. For the scene the song’s composer, Eric Serra designed the piece with the intent that it would be impossible for a human to perform the high-pitch staccato sections. He had Inva Mula-Tchako, an Albanian opera lyric soprano, sing the notes individually so that they could then be arranged digitally and recorded. In the movie, this song is “performed” by an alien, Diva Plavalaguna, played by Maïwenn Le Besco.
Chinese opera singer Zhang Jane sang her own rendition of the song, complete with a full orchestra, hitting every note almost perfectly without the help of a computer or digital aids. She even managed to sing some of the low notes. Dimash is the only male vocalist I know of who has performed the song exceptionally well, and in my humble opinion gave a superior performance. Although, I believe that he sings the song a semitone lower than the original.

Nice reaction. This song came from the Bruce Willis Sci-Fi movie The Fifth Element. It was supposed to be an alien female singer in a bar, and beyond human range, and they electronically enhanced a real Opera singer. For years it was considered unsingable by any real singer.
But Dimash the Male singing Diva fooled them all :-)

Posnela sta ga dva operna pevca, nato pa obdelala v računalniškem glasbenem programu. Prav tako se morate spomniti, ko poslušate to pesem, da je bila izvedena nazadnje po dvournem nastopu!!!!!!! Pa kaj? Je opazno? Je Dimash utrujen, je njegov glas že hripav? Kot pravijo - "figvam, ljudska Indijska koča!" !!! Dimashov pojav je fantastičen glas, naravni talent, nadčloveška učinkovitost, prizadevanje za popolnost. In ta predstava je najbolj jasen primer in potrditev njegovega genija!
