Nice video and lens, considering upgrading to it. How do you find it for hand holding, or is a tripod or monopod really required?
that golden light on the deer was special... I see you got the telephoto bug (along with the normal bugs) - it is a pain in the ass lugging it around, but addictive. I think Tamron get's a bad rap, even in the old days.. they do make good lenses.

But that means you get even more reach and still at 24 megapixels. If I crop APSC on my a7iv it'd be like 22 or less I believe. Sony APSC still rules
@@careywest YES it's perfect for bird photography (and the moon), if I ever upgrade, I feel like it will be another APSC camera!
Another banger, nice shots and edits. Did you dodge and burn or just sliders on the deer shots? The lighting/shadows look so crisp.

@@careywest Thank you, I still gotta learn to do it properly, I can never get it to look as good as your D&B does.
@@IamAW Thank you. If you want a tip, try using a low opacity and flow (10%-15%), making lots of small light brushes and actually a slightly high hardness on your brush (like 40%-50%). It definitely took me a while to figure this out, but a soft brush ends up giving a very "glowy" look which often looks very unnatural. Also be sure to regularly hide the DB layer to see your progress.
