- Part 3 of our ISOPODS NATURALLY series we basically apply all we've discussed thus far.
Time to put my money where my mouth is!
Today we setup not one but two nature inspired vivariums using all the products we harvested from nature.
We discuss the benefits of such a setup, establishing the natural micro fauna that enables the environment to flourish.
I hope you'll join me for the final instalment of our Can we do it better series and perhaps you'll walk away from it inspired to give it a try with one of your ISOPOD cultures.
As always thank you very much for watching, sharing, commenting, liking etc.... Take care and Enjoy!

Dude that’s what I’m going to do with my tank. Thanks for the idea. Beautiful mansions you made them, excellent work.
Natural setups for isopods are so fun. And those are some crazy isopods
I was just thinking of setting up a cave like setup for my duckies. youtube was listening...
So jealous!! I haven't seen merulanella tri color available in the US at all!!
isopods rule!
Those tricolours are so cool 🤩

I hope they do well
Beautiful enclosures!

Kick ass enclosure man, I think just about anything would thrive in that masterpiece 😂

I'd have that as a terrarium even. And those species of isopod are near the top of my wish-list, though I think any Merulanella will have to be a retirement gift to myself.
Nice I really like what you did there looks amazing 👏
Just got my first couple Isopods lol.when I purchased a vivarium for my Jewel Orchids...well thought it was going to be for my Orchids? Will they eat my Orchids?..tks for the great information
How does a bioactive setup affect the need for substrate changes? With enough substrate and flora activity does that counter the need for substrate changes?
I know this is a year ago, but how are they doing now? Was there an update? Just generally curious...
Is egg shell boiled or raw?
Do you ever have to replace the substrate in planted vivariums?
