Why tell a child not to feel. Tell them how they should feel. Why not allow them to have feelings, questions. Why aren’t the children helped to understand how to resolve the circumstances? Logic, reasoning.perspective. Real insightful solutions for topic at large. How long has mental health organizations neglected paying attention.

And unfortunately with some people you just cannot fix this problem. I can only personally attest to myself from 6 to 18 I was forced into this kind of therapy I was forced on to medication forced into areas like group therapy which made me feel no better and continuously targeted I am now 30 and I can no longer trust doctors cuz I feel like you're trying to do a one size fits all can no longer trust society cuz you learn that all humans are horrible in the right circumstances for me personally this therapy never helped me I feel like it traumatized me more.

      I’ve worked in healthcare
 pre and in-hospital
and you’re not exaggerating this at all. From both sides of the bed rail, I can attest that the majority of “help” is shit. It really isn’t the help that most individuals who are struggling to adapt to this modern world, really need. I believe, as HARD as it is to do, listening to what your inner self is saying to do is the best way to go. For me, I have a HUGE stack of hardships on top of an already F’d up HSP brain, and the longer I go into my “post fire-rescue/RN” life, the more convinced I am of there simply being no options to “make it”. But deep within, the necessary but VERY hard thing to do is to get my brain away from all pharmaceuticals
mainly Kratom. It’s a relatively harmless and helpful choice for many, but I just know that because of how it binds to receptors in critical areas for me, my emotional regulation ability will never prosper whilst on it. So I HAVE to chance phasing it out, and hope that while doing so I don’t react so aggressively that I end up in trouble or alone completely. It sucks because mental health isn’t lucrative enough for the people who can not only financially provide resources for therapy, but also they likely can’t even sympathize with how it feels.
