March 31 - South Africa is investing R4-trillion into its future infrastructure and with one of the world's biggest inequality gaps; the focus will be to reduce poverty through job creation. However, the success of this promise rests on an educated youth and a skilled workforce.

Our government spending trillions on overseas trips, private houses, and fancy cars. More money is wasted on consultants because no educated personal was retained in government.

In 1976 when I first visited/came to live in S A to fill a senior engineering management job, the U K Pound would buy R1 50. Now it will buy R22. Much of the depreciation has been since the ANC came to power. To improve S A, the people regardless of race need to vote in the most competent adminstrators/politicians regardless of race as everywhere affirmative action has been proven not to work. We left because our brilliant son would not get a job even with a genuine hard-worked for honours degree because he had a white skin. Cry the Beloved Country.

A first world country that used to march forward with development. Now 20 years later marching backward.

"Spending trillions laying new foundation over the next 15 years." - Well we're not even into the first year of the apparent 15 and Nkandla has already diminished the "trillions" budget. Kak reporting champ, I don't think you know the BMW driving government we have.

With Zuma and his corrupt MP,l dont see SA succeeding, the economy is not good, so lots of services. That we will end up like Zimbabwe is a dream. There is always something that we will do to fix this country.
