I'm alergic to alcohol , when I drink I break out in handcuffs
Underrated comment...lol
You have officially won the internet for the day! Maybe Ed McMahon will show up at your door.
hahahaha, yo u off the hook 4 this 1🤣😂🤣...2 DUIs lata, ive learned mine
I played Smear the Queer and I got whiplash for the first time. Been Un-Gayed ever since.
The football angle I didn't grow up with. The guys in my school would just call out one guy, and everybody piled on top of him, maybe 6 or7 guys, I don't know how there were no broken bones
@@Sheisthedevilyouknowwho-ft9wewhen you’re young, you have some bounce when you hit the ground lol. I’m closing in on 30, I don’t have a bounce like I used too 😂
Hahaha Michigan here
Lol😂
Wow why don’t they teach this science in schools
I grew up playing smeer the queer and had no idea what it meant
Grades k-9 in the '80s here, yup, same here, we just knew you didn't want to be on the bottom😂 I don't know how no one got a broken arm, leg, or neck. And we all wore blue jeans, for every sport, school 365
It was a game just like freeze or tv tag
joe was totally pretending he never heard of it...!
Same here when I was 10 I said “ let’s play smear the queer” let’s just say the 40 year old lesbian couple did not enjoy the name of the game😂
Same
I’ve said the same….”if ever a time to quit or be scared enough to NOT do drugs; it’s NOW!!”
Played it in the 90s and early 2000s here in WI. GREAT TIMES
We used to play "King Of The Mountain" too when I was a kid. No double entendres there😂
I'm from Michigan and I remember playing smeer the queer when I was younger. Never even thought of the meaning. No big deal back then. I am 66.
I knew what it meant lol
Yes,fun game as a kid.lol. haha
Tom Petty had a broken hip and put off surgery to do the tour. RIP Tom, you brought us so much joy!
Man I love hearing kid rock talk and tell his stories. I could listen to him talk forever and you know he has great stories to tell for days maybe years. 😆
7:24 definitely played that here in Virginia a lot as a kid.
The Pine Knob hat is epic!!! Grew up in Traverse City all the good shows were there.
was thinking the same! DTE not the same feel
Yes, I noticed this also. Grew up in Midland and went to a good many rock concerts at The Pine Knob in the later 70s and early 80s. Glad they changed the name back.
Thats right
Me, too. Portland, Michigan
@@thejosephs5766it’s back to Pine Knob, DTE Music Theatre is no more
We definitely played “Smear the Queer” in Minnesota 😂 back in the 90’s
Yeah we did 🤣
Played it in north Florida in the 90's.
lol there’s something funny about it revolving around football, the most stereotypical “masculine” sport
if it helps, i was born in 97, missouri, still played smear the queer, and had no idea it was something offensive to gay people, but honestly, most gay people are not offended by the word queer, that's what the Q in LGBTQ actually is.
Illinois, here. An American pastime lmao
The problem with nose candy for a lot of people is they can't stop....and ive drank jagermeister twice and went to jail both times lol
Been a while since I've seen Dave Attell's bit. " ..Jager...." if you haven't seen it, its classic
It sealed the deal for me when fentanyl came on the scene! I was a bad heroine addict and was just done with it after a long time and went to the methadone clinic and within a month or two here came fentanyl and killed so many people I knew! It’s fucking horrible joe! I got up to 200mg of methadone now I’m at 15mg and I have 3 weeks left and I’m done! I can’t fucking wait! Love the podcast brother! Weed helps my mind so much I’m so glad we’re able to go to the despo! It’s sedative that it helps me get through my day and eases my mind and pain!
I don't know whats worse... a customer ratting out his dealer or a dealer ratting out his customer.
A dealer ratting himself out, like most rappers, and nothing comes of it. I'm sure some of the rappers had buyers OD or die from their product. Statute of limitations, I get it. But it's still fucked
He's dead, weeds legal and he was an open pot smoker. I agree with your sentiment but it doesn't apply to this
@@danielvermeer3363 Its not so much the legal ramifications... Maybe Tom Petty didn't want to world to know his business... dead or alive.
I don't know what's worse
A customer ratting out his dealer or a dealer ratting out his customer
@@guntherultraboltnovacrunch5248 The business that he was a pot smoker? He literally talked about it in songs and interviews well before it was even legal. If he didn't want the world knowing it probably was an even worse idea adding it to lyrics on massive songs. I agree with the statement in general but it doesn't really make any kind of sense at all here.
Kid is hilarious.....and him and John Daly together? Let me be a fly on the wall.....
lol- Smear the Queer was our game in Wisconsin too! Lol
"Have you heard that new Joe Rogan joke?" said no one ever... 🙄💯
Good podcast, horrible comedian….. I don’t understand how anyone thinks any standup he does is funny. I laugh inside when he calls himself a comedian.
Yeah, great podcaster, but comedian, I’m not so sure?
Its so weird because he seems to understand comedy and how to write good jokes but his comedy is diabolically unfunny
This was a really good clip. Joe Rogan and Kid Rock talk weed . . . . . .
Tom didn’t want to let down his fans on their 40th anniversary tour and all the staff at these venues who relied on those shows to make a living….saw them in Baltimore and they were AWESOME…but between songs you could see Tom was hurting bad…had a golf cart ride him to the stage, then adrenaline would carry him for the 3 yr shows…that and Percocet, which he left in his hotel room, panicked and a roadie said he could get some and got ones with fentynal, which he didn’t know….ALL coming through that wide open border which is kept that way INTENTIONALLY
Since when did percocet have fentanyl in it??!? Percocet is prescribed medication that is an opiate in itself already but its not on the fentanyl lvl nor does it have any in it or at least it shouldnt that ive ever heard of.. i think he bought some street drugs like heroine is if actually had fentanyl in it he didnt buy Percocet ill say that
I read he actually had a doctor prescribing him fentanyl to get threw the tour and he could get his hip replaced.
@@Steve-ev6vx that makes sense at least back in the day, drs wont give people percs these days for agony lvl pain let alone fentanyl. But back then probably idk. That and hes a rock star he probably can find a guy that knkws a guy or dr kr whatever who knows
@@yoloswaggins5385 yeah it was a private celebrity doctor
@@yoloswaggins5385 we use to get the patches and lolli pops back in the day, usually cancer patients and vets were selling them. The lowest point of my addiction was coping off of people who were dying.

That's when you'd flash your American Express Gold card to chop up lines on the bar...
Hello Ladies!
Definitely played that game
Some bold stories from kid rock this time around- I don’t mind it
Good segment
Hands down I have never been a kid rock fan. Since I've listened to him on joe rogan I'm like man me and this cat need to hang out cause we would be best friends lol.
Until he tries to sell you on Jesus.
We had that kid game in Minnesota in the 2000’s
Joe has NEVER tried coke, that's a tough sell IMO
🤔
Tom Petty was my fave growing up. Kid Rock is excellent.
Revisit whiskey, amen
for some people drinking makes them nicer, feel better, mellow, and in a better mood.
We played smear the queer growing up in Minneapolis. I didn’t know what queer meant either. But it was fun to smear the poor bastard with the football! 😄
Love the Pine Knob hat.
Smear the Queer was a staple in KY.. 😎
That is what it does for me Joe 100%, it calms me down, I can let things go that would anger me, makes me nicer in a good way
Played it in Lawn, PA 😂
Centerville/Dayton OH - - STQ was definitely a thing in the 70's!!
Lived in Miamisburg
We played smear the queer in middle school back in early 2000s. Fun as hell. Basically kick return with everyone trying to tackle you.
Hell yeah!!! I remember playing that back in my middleschool days🤘🏻
My mom grew up in the 40s and 50s. She said that they took a good word "gay" and ruined it. It meant a happy person. She was pissed.
I'm guessing my cousin from the bay area would have said the word still applies and means happy... ..happy to be a power bottom that is
The ruined the rainbow too.🌈
It’s true…and the rainbow…a symbol of the promise from God….now a symbol of sin
@@mr.smithgnrsmith7808the pope approved it, he got a message from God to allow homosexuality now. Crazy ain’t it ….
My great grandmother's name was "Gay" literally. She went by Gay, but her name was fully "Gaynell". Her daughter was "Nell". Scottish/Irish folk.
I love listening to Kid Rock.😂😂😂😂Talented.and great character❤❤❤❤
Had it in NJ....
There's a famous old icecream called golden gaytime. No joke. Im not sure if it originated in Australia or New Zealand but its still around im pretty sure. This clip just reminded me of it. Never used to think much of it but its bloody hilarious
It's weird how booze affects people differently. I'm in my 50s now and don't drink anymore but in my 20s and 30s when I was pounding drinks, beer, wine, Vodka, and other liquor meant fun. As soon as Whiskey or Tequila entered the equation I wanted to fight anyone and everyone and most times it turned out that way. I'd wake up the next day at home or jail and wonder WTF I was thinking. I remembered everything so it meant on top of a hangover was regret and feeling like an @sshole.
I've seen whiskey turn people evil right before my eyes.
Kid Rock is fucking hilarious!!!!
Yeah. He definitely is a joke. 😂
Saginaw Michigan! Yeah!
Smeat the Queer was what they called it in PA 1970's
You are so right about when that fent came around in everything. Many people quit.
I wanna hang out with these guys
Rite on guys ,, Thanks for sharing 👍
Love his pine knob hat
Looking at a poster of tom petty as we speak - the wilburys live on in spirit, Jesus is collecting them like cards lmaooo
The grim reaper is collecting.
Tom Petty's Buried Treasure listen to it daily

We called it bull I'm tha ring
I completely agree on Tequilla. I'll stick to beer and whiskey.
I loved hearing Kid Rock cough and drink into the mic for 3 hours on this episode
He's an American treasure, what else can be said!! 😂😂
And constantly interrupting Joe. I like the dude but 3 hours was a bit too much immature stories.
Kid Rock is a solid dude.
I feel kidrock, im irish and whiskey does the same to me so i stay away from it haha 😂😂
I watched the whole interview on Spotify and kid is a name dropper.
I grew up playing that game
"you might want to revisit whiskey: !!!!
I'm with Joe on the weed and love Tequila.
Smear the queer was my favorite game growing up!
Only time I ever got in trouble with the law I was drunk as fuck
Kid Rock is still awesome. Good ol' Uncle Bobby lol
Tequila does the exact same thing to me. I don’t drink it.😂
❤ kid rock is so 🔥:) all summer long lol
Yep we all played smear the queer here. I’m talking mid to late 80’s early 90’s from 5th grade to high school. Knoxville, TN. Someone throws the ball up and whomever catches it is the “queer” and everyone else tries to tackle them. The person with the ball can run, juke, dodge, stiff arm and do whatever it takes to not get tackled. Once completely tackled they throw the ball up in the air for who ever is brave enough to catch it and it all starts again. Many guys would just throw the ball up after running around a bit and right before they were about to get grabbed/tackled to avoid getting tackled or brought to the ground. Good times on the playground at school!!! Who remembers playing “Butts up” with a tennis ball, group of guys and a big brick wall???
Yep played it in Claiborne county too
Played butts up too.we called it spread eagle
He humbled Joe a bit haha
Oh I lol'd so hard at this video 😅😅 #kidrocknotequila #lovethis
Only liking this video because I LOVE KID ROCK!❤️. He is a SOLID GUY!…Joe Rogan, I don’t really know
“Kinda just following the handbook of rock n roll. It’s like Chapter fourteen, get some blow. Blah, blah, blah we had fun.”
That was really good, lol it brought back a lot of memories. Lol smear the queen, was fun we used to play that a lot.lol..😅😊
"I don't like small cars, or real big women, but somehow I always find myself in 'em"
It's the opposite of pain. They do it because it feels good.
Jan 4 of 1999 saw rock at house of blues Chicago . His sound guy bought weed off me for Kid Rock I had grown indoors in Indiana . I think it was Silver Pearl. 😂
Who makes theese videos?
Oh God Joe thank you for saying that about the sacklers I still have hope for you!
The title is misleading. Makes it seem that Joe said that
Prince - Tom petty - cranberries … all fentenal
Drink tequila 3 times, been to jail 3 times..you do the math! lol someone make that T shirt!
I love it. Me and Kid Rock got something in common. Every goddamn time I drink Beefeater Dry Gin I get nasty and just wanna fight.
Kid Rock comin' thru! Even Joe knows better to stand in his way!
Yeah, just let him pass so we don't have to deal with him. 😂

“Me and tom petty had nothing in common” best kid rock quote ever.

True, but what he was getting at is petty was just a zoned out junky.
True, Mr. Rock really is the most talented legend of our time

Took weed to Petty once.

Yeah we all played it. I grew up in Louisiana
My cousin grew straight afghani for kid rock for yrs
Nice
First and for most, Tom is the greatest. Also, I drink and am aware that I shouldn't drive. A lot of people I hang with would jump right behind a wheel and drive like it's not the same. Yes it is. Your not your top self. Don't risk other people's lives.
Anyone else have no problem w coke? For me, yeah I want to do it until its gone, but then I just feel like crap for 2 days and really have no desire to do it again unless maybe its free, but even then I really dont care. However, Ive also been completely addicted to ganj for 20 years🤦♀️ when people talk about their experiences w substances, I just never relate lol
Cool. Ganga is the way to go
I am the exact same way! I had to be really, really drunk to do it. Never bought it and regretted it for 2 days after! You couldn't pay me to do that crap!
@maxpayne4129 I hear it is for most, but it's definitely love/hate for me personally bc its just had such a relentless grip on me for well over half of my life. I've been eternally nauseous since the day I was born and when I smoked for the first time @13 and realized what a lack of nausea was like, I was hooked! It also helped w anxiety and sleep at the time, although I think it's hindering those things now. Anyway, I'm very grateful that it has allowed me to eat food and chill out, but it also makes me dumb, tired, lose motivation, accept mediocrity and eat unhealthy things that I never would have sober. So, I've tried to quit many times, the longest being 2.5 weeks. I totally thought I was going to at least have a little more energy or clear thinking, but nah, just super nauseous, unable to cook or eat and bored(also sweats, insomnia and nightmares but that was pure withdrawal) lol I feel like over the long term that it has definitely impaired my short term memory and cognitive function, and also probably stunted my growth emotionally, perhaps even in other ways too, by allowing me to continually supress severe trauma. Anyway, whoa is me, right?😅 my main point is just that I tend to have completely opposite experiences w all substances and its weird🤷♀️ pain killers cause me pain, benzos I would never use recreationally, adderall makes me depressed and hungry af, mushrooms are completely different every single time(65%good), alcohol sucks(i dont even get drunk, just sick and bloated), caffeine makes me sleepy but then also later prevents me from sleeping that night, melatonin makes me tweak out lol...one time I even drank ayahuasca and nothing happened! Lol it certainly did at the next ceremony though, so maybe she was just being gentle on me initially😅 the only things that I seem to react to normally are maybe molly and lsd. This is hardly relevant but extremely weird, but I was also literally allergic to "cold", exercise and vibration from 2016-19😅...and had 4 pregnancies on 4 different forms of BC...now that I think about it, I should probably hit up guiness or ripleys😂
Tom had a hip that was absolute trash and standing on that for three hours for 200 dates ... year after year... that and his back were trashed and he was in horrible pain.
I concur. RIP Tom
standing for 3 hours for 200 days ?
You just described PART TIME EMPLOYMENT
Dude stfu, you know exactly what he meant @@dumpchangepants
Don't call it trash, the hip did the best it could.
@@dumpchangepants very true.. add to those miles... the miles of just life in general... bar gigs for forever and those miles until you "make it"... which is really just taking on more debt.. rough living.. partying... and those miles add up... schlepping gear up flights of stairs for years... little to no sleep... something to bring you up for a show... something to help you come down off the adrenalin and sleep later... sleeping in the van... regardless.. I'm sure he knew he'd lived a rich life with all the experiences and lessons learned and stories to be told from all those miles.
RIP, miss you Tommy.

It's known in California too. Joe might just be out of touch on this one.
“Mmm i had a good run”💀
Classic slow rogan moment
I have had Seizures since I was a baby. In my youth, they texted and tested so much trying to figure me out. I gave up on the Medical department, because the was trying to get my mom ( whom was a single mother with 7 kiddo's) to get me on expensive prescriptions. Witch gave me more seizures, or left me with strange addictions. In highschool i tried smoking good greens. It worked it was cheep and i was productive. I turn 43 on March 4th and since I started counting Im up to 199-200 seizures. They hit about 1x-2x a year droped from about 7 per year, but weed helps alot more than the Dr did. As an adult It was suspected I has problems due to drug addictions. I had these while i was a kid i didnt do anything till i was like 16. So I can't drive, live with my parents collage dropout Im not on disability because i hate being questioned about it, and it breaks my hart when people calme I am a lier. About something so seriously life altering... Theres alot more to my story. Your great Jo, Jamie. Keep up the good work, stay cool. Saginaw, Texas 4 life.
