What's the point of a High ram intake? If I remember right it's supposed to give it a little more power in the top end? could the same effect not be achieved by running more or larger diameter, or longer intake plumbing? dumb question but i'm trying to understand the scientificals behind it.

Sheep Dog69 it’s all in the runner lengths. the MSD manifold peaks at 5800 rpm. no matter what cam you have no matter if you have a pro charger or not it peaks at 5800 because there is simply not enough runner volume. hi ram has a much longer runner for higher rpm torque and power

It moves the power band up the RPM range and increases HP that would normally drop off sooner, however, most also give you a hit on low-end torque by doing it.

ProEliteMatthew it is a 4200 stall FTI converter. although this converter is great the driveability on something like a 3600 will be a bit better. driveability is good on mine but it’s a little jerky at slow speeds but i’m okay w that

or take weight off the front. drag pack skinny front and some weight reduction sub 600rwhp 6th gens have pulled the tire. 500 rwhp range bolt on cars have as well.
