The sound of the voice in the verses and with the beats gives me goosebumps
This is fantastic. You guys never cease to amaze me: always with original tracks, beautiful melodies, killer lyrics; your bridges are inventive without feeling jarring or unrelated, your vocals are tight (not auto-tuned into shallow, emotionless, sterile approximations of what my old windows XP OS might have imagined us flesh-sacks would enjoy imputing to the ear holes 110011001 beep boop 0011 110011). You sing beautifully and imperfectly human and I love it. I can feel the emotion you are pouring into your songs, auto tune has stolen that from modern pop music and I miss it even more when I hear vocals that haven’t been overproduced to shit (literally).
I could keep fan-girling here for days, seriously. I found your music during the beginning of the pandemic, and your songs really helped me get through the worst of the never ending shit-slog of isolation, loneliness, and fear-frenzy that the media did such a bang-up job of whipping up and shoving endlessly down our throats…and then through the inevitable losses that hit me like a freight train, the fact that the virus was, after all, dangerous. It’s been a shit couple of years, and I don’t have the language to express how much of a difference your music made in my shrinky-dinked world. I was white-knuckling it a few times, and filling the stale air in my apartment with beautiful sounds, slowly starting to dance, opening the windows, singing creakily and feeling that joy I had almost forgotten was real, from before, it saved me. I hope my clumsy words have managed to express how much I appreciate all you have done.
