Snaptain S5C Drone - WiFi Connection Problem and Solution

- After an Android update on my phone, my drone stopped working on WiFi. This turned out to be due to a new security feature for WiFi networks without an internet connection in Android. This video shows the solution (which is to allow the connection to the network).
I usually never leave comments but I had to thank you for this. I have the A15H and had this same problem. I had no idea what to do and just figured it was broke until I googled the problem and found your video. It worked perfectly. Can't thank you enough.

Android v13 / Snaptain S5c. This video got me 1/2 way there as I wasn't getting the notification like others. Solution for me was to go into the WiFi settings for the Snaptain network connection and change the metered network option to "treat as un-meteted" and then change the MAC address type to "Phone MAC". (Got a warning about potentially sharing device location after applying). Once I made these changes the camera and controls worked.

I have the same problem with the I-Phone 7Plus and a Snaptain A10 drone. I cannot get the Snaptain Wifi to connect or display in my Wi-Fi settings. Any suggestions???

I have an Android and it connects to the drone, and even lets me control camera, but it doesn't allow me to control flight of the drone. I don't get an error message either. Any ideas?
I have the exact same issue. Want to find a solution. GFlying the drone is fun, but I'd like to be able to use the more advanced functions.
When you start the app are the lights on the drone flashing - and if so, do they stop flashing when you open the controls page?

Hello i have the p20 pihot drone i have a problem that i can't connect my phone to the drone's wifi (failed to connect) . So what's the solution ? If anyone can help me please i tried to change my ip adress but i need to connect to wifi first so it didn't help me .

When charching battery,how do you know when is full?
My batteries have a charging lead which has an LED in USB connector. Red is charging, green is charged.
Oh wow. I think mine was doing the same thing. I couldn’t get any camera at all. I ended up returning it. Wished I’d seen this sooner. It let me do the remote calibration and would fly just no camera.
If your controls worked this wouldn't have helped I'm afraid.

Sorry I don't have an iPhone to test with.
I think we have to accept that these things are glorified toys and disposable. Good reason to buy the cheap ones. My buddy bought one for $1,000. it worked about four or five times and then software problems. Hours spent trying to fix it, no luck, no help from the company and out of warranty. Now it's not even good for a paperweight.

Unsecure network isn't a problem for controlling your drone.
My drones propeller is working but when it takeoff it restarts automatically and says low battery
