You can put a Dark Red Enchanter in there and right off the bat it gains two spell counters and becomes 2300 and every time a spell is activated it gains a spell counter plus 300 attack and there is no cap on how many counters it can hold.
The fact that you have to explain such a simple card's effect to people and there's still people amazed by it in the comment section proves how - your viewer base is

basically guys "eye of timaeus" is a polymierzation that only works for dark magician or dark magician girl EXCEPT it doenst need the other fusion monster like buster blade for dark paladin all you need is dark magician and you got your fusion monster
Did anyone notice that the art of timaeus and hermos are swaped from the anime with timaeus being a closeup and hermos a full shot where as in the anime it was the opposite with timaeus being full shot and hermos being a closer image. only critias was the same and great deck

It's also getting some DMG support like Dark Burning Attack (similar to Dark Magic Attack, but for your opponent's monsters) and Dark Burning Magic (clears your opponent's field if you have both Dark Magician & Dark Magician Girl on your side of the field). Hopefully, it'll include Magi Magi Magician Gal. x)
Yeah that's what I'm saying though are great an all but a few spells and traps tangent on one or both of them being out there is good but if you compare it to the blue eyes and red eyes support it falls short a little but let's see what the game brings

Seto Kaiba I have been testing this deck online. When i manage to summon 2 monsters in the first turn, is it better to special summon 1 XYZ monster (if so, which one?) or wait it out, add spell counters to it (skilled dmg) to summon a dark magician from my hand/deck
I don't think you can use Prisma's effect to become Dark Magician if you're not going to fusion summon after. You said dump DM so Prisma gets his name, then activate Dark Magic Attack, then XYZ summon, but wheres the fusion summon in that?
first: you have beautiful taste second : why you dont have eternal soul of DM or is it not printed yet ? third :konami is letting its guard down about censoration because dark renwal was in TF 5 censored without cross nor writting on the ring and it was called black magick revival casket.
If you really want to run Dark Magician then I'd play a pendulum magician engine. You can pendulum summon if it is in your hand or you can summon it off of skilled dark magician since it's so easy to get spell counters on him.
Unfortunately The Eye of Timaeus is f**king expensive now, making a fun deck around it problematic. $42 a pop, Dark Magician Girl the Dragon Knight is $30 a pop, and Amulet Dragon is about a $20 card. That playset alone is almost $200. For that you could finish off a very expensive competitive deck you were trying to make, or for that matter a whole new one. Hopefully, these cards will get a reprint soon.
