i come from a western country, and usually my head goes up and down when listening to music. but this time it turned left and right just on my instincts. I think the ornamentation of the vocal melodies and the oscillating foundamental provide a really good set to shake the head sideways^^ the strong backbeat in western music is more accentuated on up and down beats so the head moves different. maybe this why some regions of the world shake the head while saying yes, what means actually no in my area..^^
