      @@Gobbygoblin "Inbred mutts" is an oxymoron. Purebred animals tend to be heavily inbred, in order to cultivate the specific features of that breed, while mutts are more genetically diverse combinations of multiple breeds. Calling something an "inbred mutt" makes about as much sense as calling something a "giant dwarf". The two opposites cancel each other out.

      Popodiopio I’m confused with what you’re trying to say
      I get that there are many different accents and that it’s factually incorrect to say that it’s the British accent rather than a British accent. Sure there’s other accents world wide.
      But if most cultures mock their own (and/or) other cultures languages what’s the harm done?
      I’m British and you’ll still catch me going for a Liverpudlian accent every now and then

    This is such a basic covering of the Yorkshire dialect. I appreciate that they covered our flat vowel sounds, but without covering the glottal stops that replace 'the' and appear in the middle of words like 'future', the thou/thee/thy pronoun issue (pronounced 'tha'/ 'thee'/'thi'), the way we contract contractions (isn't = in't, doesn't = dun't), our odd uses of 'while' and 'since', and other phrases, it just doesn't sound Yorkshire yet. I know they can't cover everything, because there are some things that are particular to certain towns (like Sheffield!!!), but it's not quite there without the.... whole package.

      It’s pretty iconic. I’d say try a Northern Irish accent. It’s weird because it’s nothing like the Irish accent and nothing like the Mainland British accents.

    Try other local accents like Boston or New York, or overseas ones like Australians vs. New Zealand.
    Have a dialect contest, where contestants learn an accent, and the others have to guess it.

    Bit stereo typing, a lot of areas in yorkshire have slightly different accents. Some one from Barnsley tends to (sound) different from some one from doncaster.

    I’m from the north but in Lancaster (so I have ‘no’ accent apparently) but it means I can RIDICULOUSLY easily put on a Yorkshire accent and I only just realised that through watching this video
