- Today I opened The $2000 Briefcase of FOTL Premium Edition 2018-19 Panini Flawless NBA Trading Cards which includes two diamond cards. WHAT!?!? Yeah Diamond embedded cards. They are cool for some reason the average player card doesn't pull much of a return still with the diamonds
That Luka is amazing what a great pull I think you hold on to that card it’ll only go up in value if Luka continues to play at a generational level!
Even though I know Luka's card will rise, this one seemed primed to sell, it may rise, but percentage of rising is lower than if I spent the money on 100 Luka Silver Prizms, I think I'd have a better return long term.

Eric the Red You know I don’t recommend it unless you do for sure. It’s the most I’ve ever spent on a box and with the Luka would have been a bust from a monetary stand point. The Tatum may be a long hold and Knox isn’t playing up to the hype.
@@Cardnatics So basically if I have $2000 that I feel like burning, this is the way to go. It kinda feels like that with most card openings. Just a gamble on weather you get something of value, but I do enjoy the hobby. That and my comics.

I agree. That was absolutely painful. I cringed when you were using your fingernail to try and dig the card out of the box. Not sure why you didn't just turn the box over in your hand in the first place and just slow roll each card. Still a great break though.
It's crazy what the box breakers do just to try and cover up the cards or slowly drag one card all the way down the face of another card....it's doesn't create suspense lol it creates cringe and anger lol just show the damn card and don't scratch them all up

wgrimm88 don’t disagree with you. I have to look at these as scratch tickets at times. No matter what you spend on a ticket there is no guarantee, but a higher priced ticket gives you a chance to land a larger hit.

It's funny how limited that Luca is and if you go through eBay sold listings there are 13 of basically this exact card, I think some are to 10 and some are to 15 and one is to 5, that sold between $10000 and $15700. The one that is to 5 has a sick patch tho.

2000 dollar box to find the cards in 4 dollar Ultra pro cases, cheap asses!! I would like to see some custom clear gold plated cases for my cards, if I'm spending premium I want premium items. Panini total expenses on this was around 70 bucks tops. That was flawless robbery.

Kobe gang Many great athletes never reach their potential because of the franchise they are drafted by or traded to. It’s not always about the athlete’s skill set, but if I had to call it today he is a bust because of the Knicks. If that doesn’t change soon it’s over as more and more new talent enters the league he’ll get less minutes and not a second contract.
What are the best basketball trading cards to buy select or panini?
Parker Oystrek Panini is the manufacturer of most of the brands you see for basketball. So the select cards I just posted are actually made by Panini. As far as I am aware Panini is the only brand that has the NBA/NBAPA contract.

Does a player moving tram affect price? I can see someone like LeBron being immune to this but maybe some 2nd tier players are affected?
5wisher 5weet Sorry if I misunderstand the question. Are you asking if they move teams does that affect price? If so, I don’t think so, if it’s a better situation for the player and stats improve and championships are won that should only help the players card value. If they suck and just keep getting passed around that will still be the case their cards won’t hold value.

So why is D'Angelo's card 2 of 2 and the card number on the back is 79?
deucesolo the card is no 79 in the series, this ‘parallel’ or variation only had 2 made so it gets a 1 of 2 and a 2 of 2. I got the 2 of 2. So only 2 of this version were made.

Colin either sell it or look at past sold on eBay as a baseline. You could use PSA or Beckett to get some prices too but those are just book value not sold.
