Edge of Eternity used the hexagon grid system
I think the only game that comes to mind with circle based non grid combat was arc the lad 4.

Speaking of trails and one piece, if I didn’t start one piece like I did in 2020, I wouldn’t have been able to start my trails journey, told myself if I could start a 1100+ episode anime I can play it’s jrpg equivalent of trails lol

My highlight from the direct was Mario & Luigi: Brothership.
I already said it under the Weekly News video. I love Superstar Saga, the first game in the Series on the GBA.
I never play Dream team(4) or Paper Jam(5) because I didn't have a 3DS. And after AlphaDream died I thought maybe Nintendo let's the Series die as well.
So I'm happy so see it back, so far it looked great. I hope it will be a great game.

Looked cute.
While I think it's fine how the gameplay looks, but I wish the fighting was a bit more active.
Currently is looked more passiv, like you sit more on a back and watch the fight.
I will probably get it.

I'm always for more Ace Attorney, but I'm didn't even close to finish 4-6 NotLikeThis.

These Looked nice I never played the original but I my play the remakes.

Capcom will never fully break the shackles of Crapcom until we get a proper Breath of Fire 5.
But imagine 3, or even better 1-3, in Ni No Kuni/DQ 11 graphics. 4 in like Astral Chain/Okami etc. I would throw money at them

On the topic of Sea of Stars, it felt better to just run around the world and do whatever than progressing through the story.
I don't know how to explain it but the story (and some of the characters) just doesn't feel interesting enough to interact with.
The world design is 10/10 tho.
Played it right through and I do agree with this. Beautiful game if not slightly shallow.

I would say 162h for Cold steel 4 is already a slow run.
I'm guessing Eagleknight was talking to every NPC after every major event, with the 162h time.
When I look at HowLogToBeat the average is 107h. The Main Story average time is at 63.
So I don't think that the Cold steel games are really that much longer than other longer RPGs like ff7 Rebirth, Dragon Quest 11, Fire Emblem: Three Houses when you play them normally.
Final Fantasy VII Rebirth also took me 117h doing most of the side quest.
So don't let such long playtimes scare you from playing it. A lot of it comes from skippable activities and you even have a fast forward mode if something is to slow.
My Cold steel 4 run took me 329h, which is the ultra slow mode.
But you need to take my Trails play times with a whole planet of salt.
Most of the time is self inflicted because I played the intentionally ultra slow.
I never used highspeed mode. I didn't use the run button. I didn't use fast travel. I walked in towns. etc.
