Bushings cause alot of drag in the driveline especially in the trans, it can cause motors to fail quicker and creates more heat. It can also decrease your run time by the slightest with bushings threw out. I learned much about this with my trx4m.
Definitely, ken block was a legend to many, and the loss of him was certainly difficult to bare, but as all living things, we all have to go someday no matter how good we are. RIP ken block

Beautiful little car. I agree, the plastic drivetrain, suspension plus bushings just does not add up. I understand the licensing but there are a lot of corners cut compared to the 14B.
The 10th scale Datsun from TA also has bushings and no shocks, unlike the Hoonicorn at the same price. I've learned to download manuals before purchases, so there was an upside.
My wife and my wallet hate when you put out new videos. Just went on a HBX binge recently and got the kids running them. Thanks for the content.

Nothing at all wrong with brushed and it does look really nice. Shame about the spec, though. Bearings and oil shocks should be the minimum entry-point for Team Associated.

I agree Phill I expect better than this from TA especially at this price point. It did seem to handle fairly well though.
Gymkhana is what got me back into RC, 4-wheel slides the wrong way, Group B feels, and goofy-ass Ken Block surrounded by marketing wankers. He reminded me of Tony Hawk; let his B-roll do the talking. But the Best version of Ken came out when his daughter Lia started racing, and then the Dad Jokes made sense.
Passed Hoonigans are solely responsible for clouds. Slay all the tires. Make videos with your friends. Love your family.

Drive train gets wiggly add new bushings to tighten her up
3:00 too right, back in the day a set of bearings for a Tamiya TL-01 would cost you almost 50% as much as the kit.

Most brushed? I did with an Hpi challenge 17turn brushed 90kph
I think it sucks. The way the wheels are put on is ridiculous. The battery connection popped off from overheating after one 15 min run.
It's not kens livery it's his daughters with the number 00 but a cool looking car?

Rips good. Although mine broke within 4 battery packs. 2s only. Tires almost fully
shredded too. Not super impressed
You can tell a lot in rc by a cars shocks. Generally if the shocks are kak then the rest is much the same

Hey mate!! I know this has nothing to do with the vid, but have you ever tried or know anything about any of the 1/8 HSP trucks? I wanna get a cheap 1/8 I cant decide, the Hsp 94996 savagery or the zd racing 9021 truggy, many say that the 1/8 zd racing range Is absolute garbage, that in the 9021 the chassis will bend and the a arms will brake just by touching the air cause they are to fragile, Ive seen your vids and the only thing you broke was the wing mount, then I was also checking the Hsp Savagery 94996, and I'm 95% sure that the 94996 Is the same truck as the zd racing 9116 pirates 3, just with some minor changes, and I just dont really know what to do, do you have any advice on this mate?

I bet Associated would argue that due to the current global situation (i.e. The world sh*tting the bed) we could either have it with bearings, oil shocks & a brushless setup at a price way over £200..
Or have it without those things & a barely sub £200 price.
To that I say BOLL*CKS... If Wltoys can do it then so can you.!!
I'd even say that even adding $10 for licencing costs it shouldn't cost as much as it is. It's price gouging plain and simple. Not to mention the fact that you have OEM names all over the body is free advertising.....
