Alliance Atlantis was a Canadian media company that operated primarily as a specialty service operator in Canada, and also had offices in Halifax, Los Angeles, London, Dublin, Madrid, Barcelona, Shannon, and Sydney. They were founded in 1998 as a merger of two companies, Alliance Communications (founded in 1985) and Atlantis Communications (founded in 1978).
On January 10, 2007, it was announced that Alliance Atlantis would be acquired by a consortium of Canwest Global and GS Capital Partners, an affiliate of Goldman Sachs. The company eventually went defunct in 2008.
The Alliance name survived under the Alliance Cinemas banner until 1st January 2021, now owned by Cineplex Entertainment.
This video will take a look at the logos from Alliance Entertainment Corporation, Alliance Releasing, Atlantis Communications, Alliance Atlantis, AAC Fact, AAC Kids and Alliance Films.

Alliance Atlantis has some really good and memorable logos. Their animation is fantastic, especially for the time period they were created:
• the 1991 logo from Alliance.
• the 1999 (8:47) and 2004 logos from Alliance Atlantis.
• the last logo from Alliance Films.
Out of those you mentioned, the 1991 logo is definitely my favorite.
This brought me so much nostalgia, sadly, the Alliance Atlantis was no longer a thing and it was acquired by Entertainment One.
And then, Hasbro bought eOne to become the company’s conglomerate.

One thing I wonder: What's the music for your intro?
If I remember correctly, it was the music for an 80s Canadian TV ident. I forget which one. It might have been Global Television Network.

I saw the Alliance Atlantis logo on the canadian releases of the Lord of The Rings trilogy (loved the series with a passion), and I saw it again in the canadian release of Hoodwinked.
I HAAAAAATE Hoodwinked with a passion, and the only good thing out of that pile of horse crap covered in dog puke was the theme for The Weinstein Company, which is ironic, sad, and ironically sad!
The sequel was worse!
