- In the wait of new Audi models, all I can do is find the current ones in unique spec. We are jumping into this luxury rocket. The 2024 Audi S8. As the D5 A8/S8 platform is now over 7 years old. Still looking very good, especially here in Seville red pearl effect in the lovely rapeseed summer fields.

@@enekmartinyeta1215 Every update is a change and every optical detail is a change. I have Asperger's autism and am objectophile/mechanophile, especially towards Audi (profile picture Audi - tattoo). I recognize even the smallest optical change straight away and I always find at least one optical change, but not only in vehicles or airplanes.

I am an Audi fan but was the A8 ever the best luxury performance car? Not so sure, S class is arguably better and more consistent. The current S8 is essentially also a 2019 car, in need for a refresh to compete against the other big germans.
It still handled the best and perform the best.

Nope. It's due an update. The S class and 7 series have both had their new model updates months ago. What the hell is Audi waiting on? And what's worse. They're taking all this time, and the new A8 probably won't be as good as the S class and 7 series in terms of outright luxury.

@victorbodoenders undoubtedly. Otherwise, it wouldn't be worth the extra costs. However, this A8 has been out for years now. It came out when BMW and Merc were making their previous 7 series and S class respectively. Since then, BMW and Merc has released their new infotainment systems and released their new models. At the same time, the only new models Audi has released are EVs. Everything else has only been updated since 2015 (excluding the A1,A3, Q5, Q3 and Q7.) But even those are due new models. Audi is lagging behind. It maybe because of the diesel gate scandal. But either way, their sales have not been as good as BMW and Merc across the board. And that because people are now expecting to get more from those than they would from Audi. Audi seems to enjoy being 3rd. And out of just 3. 3rd is last.
I'm an Audi fan. So ama criticise the hell out of them. And as a previous Audi owner. I reserve the right to. They're not the Audi I became a fan of.
@@Average_BruhEven though Audi hasn't advanced the S8 design, I still consider it more attractive than the S-Class and 7 Series. I prefer the simplistic look. It's a sleeper car, and I love it.
1:49 On this car, it isn't that drastic, but my buddy has an A6, and the misalignment of the back/trunk trim is painful to watch.
Perspective and lighting go to a dealer and see if it is misaligned, Audi is 100% when it comes to fit and finish… remember most people in 2024 still think they live on a spinning spaceball earth and it is clearly a plane not a planet…peace
