Hi, great video. We just sailed the Vision of the Seas out of Norfolk last month. Because of the bridge collapse in Baltimore, and us living in Williamsburg, we jumped on it a week before sailing. Definitely a small ship but we did enjoy ourselves and the crew.

Great. Well, the debris has since been removed from the Baltimore harbor, so the Vision, as you know, is back at its home port. We're set to leave for a 9-night cruise out of Baltimore soon. I've been on a number of cruises, but I just now learned to consider ship size and occupancy capacity.

Glad to see this video. Started cruising in 1992. Our first 6 or 7 cruises were on this ship or smaller. Many times with 2 or 3 kids under 13. Always had a great time. Monarch, Majesty, Grandeur, enchantment, Rhapsody and Vision. Did the Voyager for first big ship. Did the Allure, and just got back from 3 weeks on the Explorer. Excited to be on the Vision again on Halloween.

Great video tour! Excellent commentating by both of you! Very informative and entertaining! Pixels? For me I give them 2 thumbs down. Ok, if you are doing like a one time cruise with family and or friends and need that kind of a picture, but I think price-wise, the ship photos are one of the biggest rip-offs you will find on the cruise. They don't even use film any more! Everything is digital memory. What is the overhead for that? Okay, they print the photos. I am sure when they buy the color ink and photo paper to print the pictures RCL vendors are buying in major bulk. Anyway...
Excellent video coverage and explanation of the Coast Guard medical air lift evacuation! Like professional documentary footage! Great job! I live about an hour from the port of Baltimore and I am Loyal to Royal so I have had the privilege of sailing on the Vision several times! Small but very friendly. Being an older ship I have been able to use the Vision to go on moderately priced cruises and increase my loyalty points in a relatively short amount of time. The itineraries out of Baltimore are limited but they have suited me fine for my purposes. In fact, I was on the Vision the LAST TIME it went underneath the Key Bridge! It was the early morning of the 3rd day of our 12 day cruise. Upon our return we disembarked in Norfolk.
I should reach Diamond Plus in November (2024) and then I will start cruising some of the larger ships with my status. Not to mention, RCL just announced our status is now recognized on any of the RCL brands...Celebrity and Silver Sea. I also think in order to get customers, Virgin and MSC will honor your status when you initially cruise with them. But to get beyond the RCL status you have on your first cruise with them, you have to earn points through them. So it will behoove us to enter their programs as high as we can.
I digress. LOL! Glad you had a great trip and thanks for sharing you experiences with this awesome video! Fair winds and following seas! 😎😎😎

hi ! loved your video! :)
I was wondering what time did the ship sail into Baltimore? I’m trying to book my return train tickets and I’m not sure what time I should buy them for!

Hopefully when they rebuild the bridge they make it higher so larger ships can go under.

Nicely said! I absolutely hated Symphony of the Seas. It was over crowded, rude people, major elevator issues, horrible food, and my list goes on and on!
The vision class ships are great if you want to feel like you're actually on a ship. Yes, they are older but the size is perfect.
I will say the Anthem of the Seas is a great mid sized ship that was both modern and never felt over crowded.
To each their own I guess 😊

I’m watching your video and I’m a little worried. It doesn’t look like a lot of fun going on. I supposed to go cruising on this ship in August. 🥹. Thanks for the video

@@jesus4everjesus4ever97I actually find the smaller, older ships to be better - these new ships often have few public spaces that are free - most activities require you to pay extra. They are also HUGE which makes ports more hectic.
