There's always a risk of damaging your hair especially with relaxer and everyone's hair is different. But it helps to do regular treatments and trims to your hair at home. It also helps to not over process your hair with the relaxer. Don't be afraid to visit a professional once in a while for a good trim and relaxer too. I'm comfortable doing my hair on my own and I'm not worried about my hair falling out because I know I can cut it low low and start over again. I hope that helps 😊
