Thanks for giving your view on the upgrades, not all of them are as useful as others I've found out. I had the windshield installed when taking delivery from the dealer (and I love it), as well as a tank bag and the fronk organiser and the handguards. The tank bag I consider very useful, the fronk organiser is a nice to have but definitely not essential in my opinion. The handguards is a bit hard to decide on, as I've had them installed right from the beginning, so I never rode without them. My comfort seat - unfortunately - wasn't in yet, so I'll have to install that later on.
Good tip about having the battery maintaining cable permanently installed, makes it much easier to use and probably ensures that you actually do so, I can see me having a battery maintainer and not using it because of each time removing the hood, installing the temporary cables etc.
I'm still looking for a good dashcam, so your input would be nice to have (which one do you use and how did you attach it to the windshield?)
Thanks for sharing your thoughts ☺️ Regarding a dash cam, I went with a Garmin Dash Cam Mini 2 because of its small size. There’s a small round fixture that’s glued to the windshield, and the camera is attached to it. It’s easy to remove the camera when needed 😉 Ride safe 🏍️💨💨
I would possible add the floorboards. I found myself going over a speedbump and thank goodness for biker boots because I had my heel too low and scraped my heel. The floorboards position your feet so you are not dragging your heels in danger of the road.
I bought floor boards because my feet and legs cramped and went numb on pegs. It hasn't happened since.

I have a 2022 rally with the must haves you mentioned. I'm glad im going in the right direction. I never thought about a dash cam. Great idea.
Right on! With dash cam, I have to remember to remove it when I take it to the dealer 🤣
Comfort seat is definitely a must... I think my next upgrades will be the jockey shifter and convex mirrors
When you upgrade the seat, think about whether you want back rest. That may determine your options 😉
@@urbandingo6882 I do plan on getting a 1up backrest as that's a must have for me but thankfully I have a Linq top case that I use for a little support until I grab the real thing.
My musts. I am taller than most at 6' 3" and long torso, short in the legs for my height. Safety, then comfort/convenience
Mirrors. I went with some standard stem mount mirrors and went further with 5 inch extensions. I had to remove the factory mirrors to fit mounting clamps onto the outer bar ends. The clamps also cover the gap left when removing the factory mirrors. This put the mirrors better into my line of sight adding a factor of Safety. Still looking for vetter mirrors though. I went with the cheapest I could find on Amazon as a proof of concept.
Bar end weights. Because I wanted something to fill the hole left by removing the factory mirrors. And they cut back a little on vibration in the new mirrors and the bars. Less rider fatigue.
Instrument pod riser from SlingMods. Again with the tall thing, the riser got the pod better into my scan zone. OK, but not perfect. Maybe I will stack a second one when there is a promotion
Seat. The mud flap CanAm says is a seat is more a parody of one. I chose a Corbin because they offer many options to express yourself. I chose black with yellow piping, thread, and logo. Goes really nice with my Epic yellow body panels. Comfort and safety because if I'm fatigued , I'm less aware.
Loud horns. The factory one is laughable and gets ignored in Phoenix traffic. Install is pending, it needs too much current to rely on the stock relay.
Comfort.
CanAm footboards because they were on sale and I didn't want giant footboards. These worked out great once I got them set to the right angle. No more aching arches after even a short ride.
Grips. Foam grips from SlingMods that I got for free in a promotion. Some of the best money I didn't spend. Grippy, vibe absorbing, and they slipped on over the existing factory grips. Bigger hands appreciate the increase in girth, small hands might not.
Ryker Mods steering damper. Really settled down the twitchy, still need to try different settings though.
T-Rex CNC swaybar links. Added a touch more straight line stability that I could feel.
Convenience.
Shad 45l trunk. I can carry a rain suit and still have room to lock up my helmet and gloves when I dismount. Only miss here is that I can't stash my jacket in there too. Bigger would be better. Didn't fit well until I added the large luggage rack from SlingMods.
USB power hub. Need power for my Carplay/Android Auto display and any other bar mount electronics
CarPlay display. Jury is out on this because I just installed it.
USB power cell. Can never have enough reserve power.
Battery powered inflator.
Bluetooth intercom. Brings calls, texts, tunes and navigation into my helmet hands-free. I don't group ride, but if I do I'll be connected to other riders if their intercoms are compatible.
Joe Rocket Phoenix mesh fabric jacket. Great choice for the desert southwest. Liner with an under layer on the coolest days, linerless once it heats up. Nothing is comfortable in 110 degree plus desert summer heat, but when in motion it is surprisingly comfortable up 118, in my experience Nothing can be when you're waiting for the signal go go green and your cooling fan turns on. But that's the cost of admission for 320 sunny days per year. I can live with it, and I don't need to shovel sunshine!
Shoeii Nutec II helmet. I like the fit, the options for shields, the provisions for audio, and ventilation. A bit noisy but all modulars are.
Misses
QuadLock Too far out of sight line to be usable for navigation and my phone overheats and shuts down on sunny days. So my phone rides in the frunk and stays charged off of the USB port in there. Still the brains of the operation though.
All of the windscreens I've tried so far. None did much for me but make more noise. They do nothing at all or drive the wind right under the chin bar of my helmet. NOT HELPING.

Hi @JulianCentral, thank you for tuning in! I love my added fender LEDs. They make me very visible from the front and the back. They were already on when I purchased my Ryker used, so I am not sure where they came from, but if I had to guess, from Can-Am because all my other mods that came already installed seemed to be Can-Am products and were installed by the dealer. @@urbandingo6882 My Ryker had the Floor Boards already installed and it is so comfortable to ride with them on it. I also think a must have is the Brake Pedal extender, because it make finding the brake pedal so much easier and safer.

I have the weights on my handlebars.. so id lose them if i got hand guards right????
It may work, but you may need longer screws. I am guessing that from my bar end helmet locks.
