- In this tutorial, Jennifer reviews the three types of plate boundaries (Convergent, Transform and Divergent), the sub-types of each. She also provides modern analogs and the geographic/tectonic features you should expect to find at each type.
This was clearly and thoroughly explained. Thank you!
guess what? the best earth science teacher i have ever seen.
It's geography not science
@@ayushmeena21 geography is earth science

Thank you so much
this helped m lot..
Thanks for the video 🙏
So helpful thank you!
That was a good class..love from india
Good video. By the way, a good example of a continental-continental divergent boundary would be Death Valley. Even though it's not at a plate boundary, it is affected by the San Andreas in a way that causes the same phenomenon.
Ultimate one stop solution video
Thanks mam very much
Please upload more vedios..
God bless you thank you
Great! Thank you!
Really nice!
Thanks you mam thanks a lot .. a lot of love from india... 🤗🤗🤗
Great jop💗I'm in faculty of science and love your way
Awesome! Thank you!
Thank you so much 😊
thanks from your lecture
Can you please explain- why the offset of the MOR in case of a transform fault is opposite to the direction of fault movement ?
Thanks this helped
thank you so much
Thank you..!
It's very good
Love from india
thank you so much madam
Thank u mam
Thank you...
Thankyou!!
So most of the transform faults are found in the ocean basin ? How is it different from strike-slip one ?
thanks!
very nice
Very helpfull
very good and clear! but why the oceanic subduction cause ever a curved line and not, for example, a straight line?
Jennifer Lewis thank you for your answer...and for the videos!
Which of the 3 plate boundaries which can create the strongest earthquakes?
6:58 Bless you.
Thanks
Wonderful explanation madam. Are the plates moving continuously? plz answer this as soon as you can.
Yes, it is. But i think the anwer is 4 months late, well

thanks in advance
Ghad Philippines was mentioned. Hahahhaha. I am proud hahahhaha
What do you call that molten material?😂btw. Than you I learned a lot!😊😘
helpful
i will like to contradict your idea on ocean-ocean convergence. i think the one that subducts is the faster moving plate not the denser one. they both are having the same density. please can you please answer this: give two examples of oceanic plates that converge.
A lot of oceanic-oceanic convergent boundaries can actually be observed in SE Asia and Australia, such as the boundary the Philippine Sea plate and the Eurasian plate and the boundary between the Mariana plate and the Pacific plate.
Also, they would not have the same density as the older oceanic crust would have been cooler, and thus become more dense. Which is why most of the time the older crust gets subducted.
👍🏻👍🏻💞💞
Mam what about Ocean - Continent in transform plate boundary????
Same active earthquake????
Explain the process of plate boundaries
Understand the different process of plate boundaries
Make an illustration or model of the different process along plate boundaries.
Did you watch the movie San Andreas?
