Extremely happy to share with all of you 'Power of a dream' the documentary that we have been working on since a long time.
Through this documentary, I tried to show my whole journey upto Everest in the most honest way possible, just as it is!
A lot of hardwork has gone into making this. I hope you guys enjoy it.
On 23rd May 2019, 5am, at the age of 24, I reached to the very top of Mount Everest fulfilling a 9 year long dream. #Everest2019
Very happy to bring to you the complete experience of my 2019 Everest Expedition.
I started trekking since the age of 15 and since then I have completed over 800 treks across Sahyadri's and Himalayan mountain ranges. Moreover, I also work as a motivational speaker for various institutions.

The documentary inspired me a lot! It's so much fun to see the footage from the top of the world and also the life that mountaineers live while on the base camp! Also your journey to Everest at such a young age is absolutely commendable and inspires me a lot to dive into mountaineering!
Here’s my takeaway from the experience that you shared:
    1. It’s not necessary that you will have a clear idea about your passion from the start or just when you begin doing something. Sometimes, it may strike you at a random time. Just like how you set your eyes on Everest when you climbed Kalsubai.
    2. And once you set your eyes on something, you have to keep that goal in mind every day and show up even when it feels like you can't.
    3. There are 3 pillars to climb Everest - a) Mountaineering expedition - The ins and outs of how to survive in the mountains. The technical aspects, preparing yourself for the worst weather conditions, how to cooperate with fellow mountaineers, acclimatization, etc. The best training for mountaineering is to actually be in the mountains for a significant amount of time while training for the expedition.
    b) Physical and Mental fitness - “To reach the top of the world, you don’t just need top of the world body but top of the world mind as well”. As you said in one of your videos, you should train your mind and body such that while climbing, when your body gives up, your mind should take over, and when your mind tells you to give up, you somehow keep pushing your body forward.
It’s all just about taking one step ahead of the other steadily until you reach your destination.
Mountaineering is more of a mind game than physical - and for that one should practice breathing exercises and meditation. One needs to first climb the Everest within (i.e. within their mind) and then climb the Everest outside.
    c) Fundraising - If you care about your dream enough to go out and train hard every day for years, people will invest in your dreams, and fundraising won’t be much of a problem.
    4. The basic and advanced mountaineering courses are just to introduce you to the ABCDs of the mountaineering world. To prepare yourself for Everest, you need to get into that zone where your only focus is on the expedition and nothing else for at least a few years. Just like you rented out a flat in Bhivpuri to be in the mountains.
    5. Your tent got blown off while on the mountain and you had no shelter in the cold night. That’s something absolutely horrifying, to not have a roof to battle the night at such an altitude. Yet, you guys have a smiling picture in your sherpa’s tent. That shows that no matter the adversity, you need to stay calm and have a positive outlook towards unprecedented circumstances.
    6. Spending time at the base camp after the rotations is tough because you are alone with your mind and it’s difficult to stay focused and avoid negative emotions. The key is to remain focused and not let the negative thoughts waver your mind. You need to have the patience to wait for a good weather window and also be prepared for the worst possibility that you might have to postpone your expedition if the weather isn’t in your favor. The mountain is going to be there and sometimes it takes a lot more courage to just come back than to risk your life.
    7. Prepare yourself such that your goal shouldn’t be just to reach the summit but to get back down safely. Getting to the top is just 50% of your journey and 85% of deaths occur on the way down. You should avoid getting complacent when you reach the top and save your energy to get down successfully.
    8. When you had a near-death experience while getting down, the only thing that mattered to you at that moment was to have a little time with your loved ones. That says a lot about us, as humans in general. We can achieve every goal that we want in our life but at the time of death, the only things that come to our mind are the things that we couldn’t do and those moments that we wished would have spent with our loved ones. And that’s why we should make each and every moment of our life count, not just towards building up to our dream but also to cherish the moments with friends and family.
    9. Lastly, when you invest your time and efforts for any of your dreams, batting against all the adversities and still staying on the path towards your goal, you can witness the “Power” that “Your Dream” can have. Suddenly, your dream not just becomes your own but also of the people who will always support you and get inspired to “Climb Their Own Everest”.
    Thank you for reading!

Long back, an uncle of mine met Bachendri Pal while he went to climb K2 and she was on her quest to conquer Everest. He was an untrained man and yet he conquered K2 and Bachendri conquered the Everest. When he returned, nobody could recognise him, he had changed, a narcissist and an atheist was now a believer and an exceptionally sensitive man. He died about 10 years back and I am pretty sure nobody remembers his story but it lives within me. I know I wont ever have the courage or the ability that he had or maybe I havent groomed myself that way but if I could, I'd risk it all just to experience those 20 minutes on the top of the world. Loved it Parth. You are an inspiration. ❤

Salute to the legends Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgey...
When Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgey reached on the Peak there were no fixed lines and ladders available at that time... Even they didn't know about the Route and didn't know about the safest way to the Mt Everest Peak..
    They are real legends..
Now a days climbing up to the Mt Everest seems like a tourist destination with little effort... The climbers only have to follow the lines and to climb the inbuilt ladders on there... And SOS helicopter, Oxygen and other facilities, available if needed..
