Part 2 - • Busy Oshkosh Departure...
Part 3 - • Busy Oshkosh Departure...
The Experimental Aircraft Association's AirVenture is a massive fly-in, convention and airshow held at Wittman Regional Airport each July. The event sees more than 10,000 aircraft of all types - general aviation, home-built, vintage, warbird, ultralights, and modern military - and hundreds of thousands of spectators over the course of a week.
During the event, the airport claims the title of the world's busiest airport with famously busy arrivals and departures. It is standard procedure to have multiple aircraft taking off or landing on the same runway at the same time! Our arrival and departure videos try to capture a fraction of the daily action, including radio communications between air traffic controllers and pilots.

That red high-wing at10:19is beautiful. A Stinson SR-9, apparently, from 1937. And the Waco biplane just behind it
I think it's been champion a few times 😊
Great Video
Superb catches! Today I went to my local Airport. It was so busy that there was so many aircraft departing and landing which featured a Stunt Plane (Extra 330), a Warbird (P-51D Mustang), and the Skydiver Plane! (Cessna 208B Grand Caravan)
14:30 YO THATS ME!!!!!
Addicted to your excellent videos!!
Thank you AirshowStuffVideos for allowing me to experience Oshkosh! Sometimes it is simply impossible to get there.
Just love it' please keep it coming!
Super vidéo 👍👏 c'est vraiment magnifique 😍😍
Amazing
I don't know how the controllers stay so cool. Amazing................
No matter how many of these & FISK approach video's i watch. Im always amazed by the controllers. Top notch folks. I see why they are the best of the best.
They aren’t the ones dying 😅
As someone who designs bespoke aircraft liveries and interiors, but specifically liveries, AirVenture is a sensory/information overload, the trick though to stay ahead of the game (and we do) is to do something that turns heads but was 'not seen at Oshkosh.'
Yes my favorite series
👍👍wow thats a busy Rw🛩🛩🛩
What type of aircraft is that at 1:05 ???
N749AW Lewis Ascender.
Прекрасно, нет слов! Блеск!
10:16 - now THERE'S a purdy plane right there... NICE!! oooo... 11:04; and another one. 11:33 - and is that Bond? James Bond?!
12:14 - these guys lost their can-o-peas already! "Canopy?! We don't need no stinkin' canopy!" 15:36 - the engine that sounds like good music.
N749AW, great!
O melhor canal até hoje 🥰🧏✈️✈️✈️✈️🇧🇷🇧🇷
Another Oshkosh in the books
i have take off and landing footage of that first mustang on my chanel from a few months ago, random encounter in the wild at whiteville NC
At 1:21....no usual firewall protection between the prop and the windshield....wow, brave people !!
Highly trained and disciplined pilots.
Some of them yes!!
@@scotabot7826 ATC didn't sound like it was having any trouble at all landing and dispatching those planes. Everyone was paying attention.
Вот за, что уважаю Американцев , что они чтут свои традиции , любят небо как и мы.
Phew😳!!!!
The closest approach and center are probably swamped by the traffic 🤣
There's no OV-10 Bronco, my favorite one...
Організація шоу на найвищому рівні!
What on earth was that aircraft with the single engine on top of the wing?
The Ascender. looks like a one off SuperCub derivative
Hi🎉🎉❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
The Fairchild Provider has a dark history. It was the airplane that dis the spraying of Agent Orange in Vietnam during the Vietnam War.
Darn, guess I left too early Sunday to be featured.
12th subscriber LIKE; 60th desktop view. Busy day, eh? And how'bout that jet-dude who lost his can-of-peas on takeoff?! Yikes!! Luckily, seems no one got hurt.
08:00 what are those canard thingies on the 182? it has odd wings too.
The Katmai mods...
I think it's a STOL kit.
Doin some business! Thanks for your videos.
What is the aircraft at 1:00 ? Single engine on top of the wing.
I also really want to know

I find it,search the title:The Ascender. It’s here, and it’s available. Ultimate SuperCub for off airport back country flying!
I call it ugly as sin, and there is already the best Super Cubs that have been on the market for years and years!!
What model Aeronca taxied by after the C123 took off (hunter green color0?
15AC Sedan
@@bwmatz Thanks!
Are there any C-123s that still have real turbojets in the wing mounted pods?:
That's the only one still flying. Not sure if it has like JATO pods or not
At ~15:50, the tower instructs the blue and white "RV" to line up. What does that mean? Am I hearing that incorrectly?
You heard right, "RV" is a very popular series of homebuilt aircraft from Van's Aircraft
I must admit, I was expecting to see a Winnebago trundling down the runway and into the air
That is what I think of when I hear "RV".
@@AndreiTupolev It would be flown by Lone Star and Barf.
Unfortunately Cousin Eddie didn't get his certificate....metal plate and all 😊
1:00 What is the name of this plane?
The #2 engine on that C-123 looks sketchy as heck. Time for an overhaul or an inspection at the least.
She's a bit rich for sure!!
Er, that isn't rich to me, that's oil smoke, way too much of it. Yes radials will smoke on startup until they clear out but even when idling as it taxis by oil smoke is chuffing out of #2. Then on takeoff it's smoking like mad.
That plane isn't healthy, I hope they get their shit together before they hurt someone or the plane.
Please tell us what kind of aircraft they are….
Why don’t AC engines overheat with long idles on taxiways. Prop-wash enough?
I used to fly R/C models and the air blast off the propeller always kept the engine cool, no matter what speed it was running at. I would guess it's the same principle for virtually any plane with a propeller and a reciprocating piston engine.
That's the great thing with air-cooled engines
Launching planes is much easier than landing them.
what's that plane at 1:08
Called Ascender, like the Curtiss thing.

How in the heck does someone own a C-123 Provider?😮
What's the unique plane at 1:07?
Looks like a garage special. "Well, we've got this ultralight, but the only engine we've got is this one that's way too big." "Ah, stick it on anyway."
It's called Ascender. Like the GeeBee thing.
@@leifvejby8023 Thanks.
It's definitely a head turner.

I was hoping to see it take off

Why don't we see F-4 phantoms at airshows?
The only flyable one in the US is owned by the Collings foundation and they haven't flown it in a while. Main reason is cost, parts and fuel are very expensive. There is another one close to completion but it's been for sale for a while.
Странно, эксперты в ежедневной передачи на Федедеральном канале говорят что в Амереке все совсем плохо, по-видимому это не Америка?!
🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷
Boy, that "Cub" with the engine mounted on top of the fuselage wing center section, is one ugly, ugly airplane. Don't know why he's trying to reinvent the "Cub", but I see a whole lot more negatives than I do any positives!!! But hey, his airplane, so whatever blows his skirt up!!
Bunch of rich people with their toys. 😳
A friend of mine who I would hardly call 'rich' built his own plane and enjoys flying it tremendously. He's of modest means. It's those same experimenters who have made an enormous contribution to the science of aeronautics.
@@joeyjamison5772 Ya but I wasn’t talking about guys like that I was talking about the people in the video. 😂
Your statement is far, far from the truth. There are some yes, but not all. Most just know how to manage their moneys, and have a strong will and desire, and with that you can do about anything!!
@@scotabot7826 I just said “ a bunch” I didn’t say every last one. How about the P-51s The T-6 heck a Carbon cub is $350,000! sure some are as you described but most are very well off people. I’ve been around aviation all my life so I’m aware of what these planes cost. I fly through a flying club and even that’s kinda expensive but I doubt I’ll ever own anything more than a very old plane like a Cessna 172 or something. 😭
You're not wrong on one extreme, b ut on the other, it's cheaper than Harley-ing or RV-ing. I bought an 150 for $13k, overhauled the engine myself and 10 years later sold it for 20k. Compare that to going whole Hog!🙂
