Iván Franco Yeah, Ceave Gaming recently had a whole video on how dumb their glitch policy is.
I think it was a feature that they had to scrap because of covid.
Much of their update was probably cut short by covid. It was theorized that SMB2 would have been an entirely new gamestyle.
I mean it's not a glitch in itself, it's more like a cut feature that can only be accessed through a glitch
I think they scrapped it simply because it was kind of unnecessary and probably hard to implement or for some other unknown reason
The p-balloon with shellments and dry bone shell look awesome!
What happens if you jump on a glitched mechakoopa? What happens if you glitch a lazer mechakoopa? Can you be damaged by a glitched mechakoopa?

These are some high quality glitches. Especially the flagpole glitch one. You can use it to troll, but you have to win first!
From the look of the textures of the shell balloon, it looks like the shellmet is purely for an extra hit, which it is, while the spiky version would allow for hurting enemies by ramming into them.
So it appears Balloon Shellmet act as a one-hit shield, judging by the sprites, neat!
Everyone talking about how the shellmets with p ballon Mario should be a thing but in reality it is probably just a fail safe
It WAS a thing. It was scrapped because of COVID.

Icay, Spark and Smashy all have the forcefield glitch on their thumbnails lol
I think the reason why the shellsents with P-balloon Mario isn’t a thing because at the last minute they probably discovered a bunch of glitches with it and instead of letting those glitches out or delaying the update they just simply scrapped it, but it would still be nice if it was the future.

that mechakoopa walking projectile one is very familiar, I remember messing with the equivalent of that on other enemies years ago

if you enter a dorr while invencible and a power Up in the door you reside damage after enter the door
if shellmet balloon mario collects a fireflower or something does he still keep the shellmet
I just tested, and yes! At least, for the dry bones shell, since the shellmets won't appear when I hold down on mario for some reason.
What happens if you collect a powerup while wearing a Shellmet with the P-Balloon? Does the Shellmet disappear, or are you just wearing a normal Shellmet at that point?

They just act like the normal Mechakoopas except they have a laser. Nothing interesting happens with the laser though.
